• Room clean and well stocked.
• Bed was hard as a rock.

“Good location, outside spaces old and run down, room clean and well stocked, staff not really friendly, bed sucked.”

• Fridge, microwave, wireless internet, clean.
• Lots of noise from the guests walking on the floor above.

“This hotel provides a basic place to stay for a reasonable price. It was convenient having a fridge, microwave, and free wireless internet. It's within 10 minutes of Wrightsville Beach. We requested and were given a non-smoking, pet friendly room. Although the decor isn't the most modern, it was still clean. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the room clean, as we did track in sand from the beach. The only complaint I'd have is that if you are on the bottom floor and have people staying above you, you will hear them walking around. If you're traveling on a budget, I'd recommend this hotel. If you're not a budget traveler, I'd choose a different hotel.”

• Nothing.
• Dirty and scary.

“The first room we got smelled horrible - not to mention the next door room did not even have windows- it was covered in plastic. So we requested a new room - only to be given the room on the other side of the recently broken into room! The electrical outlets kept needing to be reset in order to run the coffee pot and the hairdryer- we didn't sleep well wondering if our car would still be there in the morning!”

• Location.
• Internet said check after 2:00pm. It was after 4:00pm. We arrived at 9:00am.

“The hotel was clean and the location was great. I didn't like the fact that we could not check in after 2:00pm. However, when we arrived the clerk told us we couldn't check in until after 4:00pm. When you have traveled, need a shower, and a nap a 4:00pm check time, I think, its too late in the day.”

• Convenient location.
• Cramped, small old TV, the bathroom door opened on the bed, the entry door did not close by itself.

“I can never stay at a two star again unless it's for an overnight fishing trip.”

• Close to stores and restaurants.
• Staff seemed friendly and willing to help.

“Stayed in a first floor room, could hear people walking and water running from room above. Bed mattress's were to firm. Stayed in a non-smoking room but could smell smoke from smoking room next door.”

• The room was very clean.
• The room smelled like sweet mold.

“We needed a place to check in around 11pm, and out by 8. For this purpose, this hotel was great. The room was very clean, but it had this "sweet mold" smell that your nose just does not get used to. The staff was very friendly, the neighborhood is fine.”

• People were accommodating in changing our rooms to adjoining rooms.
• Lobby was a souvenir shop with a check in counter. No seating.

• Pricing was right.
• Need to have move non-smoking rooms available. I have kids and the smoking room was all they had to offer.

“The hotel seemed nice. I really did not like the fact that there were no non-smoking rooms available. My family smelled like ash trays. We went to the store to get air fresheners and air sprays for the room. I got a head ache from the stale smoke sent in the room.”

• Rooms were very clean, convenient to many restaurants.
• Noisy street, Noisy guests.

“The room itself was clean & pretty comfortable. The restaurant was good for breakfast. The main street it's on is noisy. There were many noisy guests staying there as well.”

• Walking distance to good restaurants next door. Sticky fingers.
• Had to wait for room inspection to check in, then gummy bears were on the floor in plain sight. Don't like pet friendly motels.

“Have always avoided Days Inns for comfort suites, Drury and Hilton. After this experience at DI, will probably stay at ones again, if pets aren't allowed.”

• Rooms very impersonal - hard pillows - uncomfortable mattresses.

• The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean, nothing special but nothing bad.
• The street it was on gets very busy and its annoying to get in and out of it.

“The Hotel was what you would expect for the price. Everything you need, clean and fairly comfortable. Nothing special about it but nothing bad either.”

• It was not as clean as it should be. Stale smell.

“For a night it was okay. If you just needed a place to take a nap as i did. everything about the hotel was old. the cleaning team needs to be replaced. would not recommend the hotel.”

“This hotel had the feel of a truck stop. It was gross and nasty! It smelled, the carpet was slightly moist and the bed was terrible. I would never stay at this hotel ever again.”

• The a/c worked.
• The room smelled moldy, the sheets were old and stained.

“I did not care for this hotel, the beds were hard, the room smelled moldy, the carpet was stained, the room was too small and I had to drag my luggage up outside cement stairs to access my room. Also, there was no where to sit down outside if you wanted to have a cup of coffee and read the paper. I asked maid service for extra creamer and they asked if they could "skip" cleaning my room for the day. Very weird.”

• Nothing really to say nice about it.
• The room was outdated. Room temp hard to regulate. Front desk staff not friendly. I was happy I was there for just one night. I will never go back.

“I was unhappy and will never recommend to anyone! The hotel was not a 2 star hotel and I had a real sense of fear around my stay. Their were a number of "shady" men loitering around the hotel.”
