“The hotel is conveniently located but friends and family from the area told us that the area was not very safe. We did hear; see a number of disturbing things while staying there. Glad it was only for one night.”

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It needs a complete remodeling job. The doors would stick, the paint was peeling, the water in the shower was either too hot or too cold. The hotel was just old and worn.”

“This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. This place was nasty; the location was in a bad part of town. My family and I went to the mall until it closed just to avoid being in that room. It had a terrible smell the towels were stained. When I checked others were complaining. We were up at the crack of dawn to get out of there.”

“I would not go back here as it seemed that the lobby presentation was excellent but the rooms were in horrible condition; hairdryer falling out of the wall, plumbing fall apart and just not in good repair at all. Plus it appeared that some people may actually be living in this motel in large groups. Not for me, but worked okay for night.”

“Hotel was clean and quiet, but the facilities were worn and a bit threadbare. This was my second stay at the hotel, and the staff performance is inconsistent, to say the least. One day a person will be short and a bit pompous with you, the next day they will be helpful and easygoing. This is not just a bad day, because I have dealt with the same staff members on two stays of more than 5 days.”

“There were signs everywhere excusing them for the mess that they were in the process of renovating. We did not see any materials that would confirm that. Would not reccomend staying there.”

“This Ramada has just gone through a new renovation, they have these new plush Serta mattresses which were extremely comfortable. Room was nicely fitted out with new furniture and carpets. Front desk offered discount coupons to local restaurants with great recommendations. Overall for the money we paid this was a great value. We will be back.”

“For the most part everything was fine. The neighborhood a little rough. However, everything you need is nearby. The hotel itself is very run down and the air/heat unit would not shut off.”

“Can't compete with other hotels in the area. No real amenities, comp breakfast limited and not entirely comp. Under constuction somewhere but not in well worn room. Lobby looks like a bodega in a high crime area. Heat in room intermintent and only slightly better after service call:on 30 seconds off a minute all night long regardless of adjustment. Bring your own water for in room coffee.”

“The Ramada Inn had a temporary sign, so it may have been a recent acquisition by this franchise. The building was old and worn. The room was old and worn as well. Cleanliness was acceptable but not exemplary. Everything in the room "worked" but looked like is suffered from Band-Aid repairs rather than rigorous maintenance. The room on the highway 17 side was subject to moderate traffic noise. Despite the name of "Conference Center", it was just a hotel without the typical Conference center amenities like workout room or indoor pool. This is not a shining example of a name brand hotel like Ramada.”

“Facilities were ancient. The bedspread smelled. Bad. Very bad. We would have taken the hit and left if there was another room in town.”

“The side doors didn't lock, and anyone off the street could enter. The hotel was run down and in poor shape. The security lock on the room door had been broken off. The carpets were threadbare and badly stained. There was also an odd smell.”

“I will NEVER stay at this Ramada again. It was disgusting. The hallways were musty and hot. The downstairs hallway smelled of vomit. The first room they put me in had a cracked and TAPED up toilet.”

“Clerk was unpleasant and unhelpful. Breakfast served in Indian restaurant on premises! Room smelled more than usual. Dark parking lot and unlocked doors made it seem less safe. Broken ice machine. Stairwells needed painting.”

“The first room I was given was totally filthy, shades broken, could not stop air conditioning, I said I could not stay if they could not stop the air, they gave me a new room, better. The toilet was constantly running I had to stop it myself. Breakfast was full, however, would not fix my eggs and the scramble were horrible. Was never asked if I wanted another cup of cold coffee, needless to say I never had breakfast there again and had to go out and spend additional money. I had fruit and yogurt in the refrigerator, and they disconnected it making my yogurt and fruit bad, the bathtub was so filthy I put a towel at the bottom after two days, they left me no small towels to put in tub.”
