“Hotel tried to charge me again, I questioned the bill when I was checking out, and they supposedly adjusted it. Other than that, everything was fine.”

• I liked the breakfast that was offered free of charge in a very casual but attractive atmosphere.

• Location.
• The condition of the room.

“The top floor of this hotel was changed from smoking to non-smoking over a year ago. The rooms still smell like smoke. The first room was really bad. I called the front desk and asked to be moved. They only had one other room and it was not much better.”

• Excellent room - very clean and well maintained.
• Price was costly for the standard. No swimming pool available for our 4 day stay.

“This is a lovely hotel - rooms are excellent and we enjoyed our stay. However it was costly enough. The swimming pool was not available for the 4 days of our stay - being refurbished.”

• We enjoyed the hot breakfast provided each morning.
• The exercise room needs more options- weight machines, e.g.

“The Hampton Inn Suites- Williamsburg Square was located in a safe, scenic location near other hotels and restaurants. Areas of interest in the State College area were easily accessible from this location. The rooms were clean; beds were very comfortable. The hot breakfast buffet provided a nice selection of food and drink. We would definitely stay there again!”

• Clean, updated. Walking distance to restaurants
• Would only give us a room with 2 double beds.

“Hamptons are great because of full breakfast (albeit not greatest food) is available to make morning departures easy.”

• Nice size pool. Great breakfast.

“Easy to find, right off highway. Olive Garden in same parking lot. Helpful staff and nice lobby with computers for business travelers available. Vast selection at the complimentary breakfast and very clean. They gave us smoking room, but they did however put an ionizer in our room to help with the odor.”

• The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
• There is nothing not to like. I definitely do not agree with the 2 star rating, it should be higher.

“This is a newer property with beautiful rooms, exceptional bedding (your choice of firm or soft pillows) and a helpful friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast goes far beyond the normal continental I¿ve come to expect. I highly recommend this hotel.”

• It was clean, modern, in a safe environment. Had friendly staff and good continental breakfast.
• There was nothing that I didn't like about the hotel.

“It is a modern facility. It is clean and comfortable. It is located near family style restaurants and shopping. The staff was courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to my friends and family.”

• Public spaces were attractive.
• They gave me a hard time about getting a non-smoking room, even though they were available. Some desk clerks were barely communicative.

“When I told him that I could not stay in a smoking room due to health reasons, he made a one-time exception. When I have done this in the past, I have never been refused my request. ”

• Was forced to stay in a smoking room due to volume of guests.

“It was a beautiful hotel and very clean, but we were forced to stay in a smoking room that made the experience a lot less enjoyable. The hotel was full. I think he stated this so emphatically because I have allergies to smoke.”
