• There is a wonderful Thai restaurant next door.
• Television didn't work.

“This hotel is about a 10 minute drive from Wrightsville Beach. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. This is an older hotel but it has been maintained well. The pool was clean and kid friendly.”

• Large room and comfortable bed.
• Crowded access to parking.

“I was greeted at the front desk by a friendly and efficient gentleman. Politely directed me to my room. I did not expect the large size of the room. The bathroom was small and there was only a shower stall. The bath was not too small to move around in easily. I found the furniture attractive and everything clean. Wireless internet was available.”

“Our room was awful, there was stuff all over the walls in the bathroom and something (that I don't want to know what is it was) under the comforter. Our friends also went with us, one room had hairs (not off your head) in the bath tub along with a old bluffs. The others room would not even lock! For what we paid I think we were ripped off.”

• Bed was large.
• Bathroom was filthy. Towels had holes in them.

“The Bed pillows and sheets reeked of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was unacceptable. The walls in the bathroom were stained and the towels had holes in them. For the money I paid I was not at all pleased, especially when the Motel 6 a block away was 10 dollars cheaper and surely much cleaner.”

• I didn't like anything
• hotel was dirty with hair and bugs and the staff was very rude.

“This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in and wish I could have my money back. The bathroom had clumps of hair in the tub and floor, I had to kill roaches at night that were in the BED and the lady at the front desk was beyond rude. I actually had to put my hands up in the air and calmly state that I was not trying to argue with this woman. She and the hotel ruined my stay and my vacation. It was dirty, nasty, and the staff was rude. If I could get my money back, I would. Please don't have anyone else stay at this awful place.”

• It had more amenities than I expected.
• The continental breakfast was merely adequate.

“We really liked it! For the money, the room was great; there was a built-in hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, an in-room coffeemaker with complimentary coffee and plenty of closet space. There was a continental breakfast in the lobby that was adequate, and the motel was in a very central and convenient location. The street off of which the motel is located is busy, and therefore noisy from traffic, but with the fan on, we didn't hear it at all. I will stay in this hotel again the next time I'm in Wilmington, which was, by the by, a lovely city.”
