“This is an older Days Inn that has been and still maintained very well. We had 2 young boys (4 & 7) that swam, kicked a ball around the wonderful open spaces and even talked with cows. The staff recommended two restaurants that we enjoyed. Breakfast at the hotel had something to please all tastes. We were very pleased.”

“Has a nice pool and a kiddy pool. Room was quiet, and had a microwave and a mini fridge. I would use this hotel again if ever in the area.”

“Rooms were basic. There was some smoke smell in the room even though we requested non-smoking rooms. The towels did not seem to be very clean. Staff was friendly.”

“I booked this hotel on the grounds that the facilities included a bar and restaurant, it had neither, and had not for approximately 3 years. The nearest dining facilities were 4.5 miles in one direction and 10 miles in the other. Had we not arrived in time to drive to one of these before it closed, we would have gone hungry that evening. I can only pity a family with young children in the same situation.”

“The thing that most disappointed about the hotel was that sometime in June or July of 2006, the hotel experienced a fire in the lobby area. Because of the fire, the phones in the rooms did not work & there was no continental breakfast. When booking my reservation online, I was not made aware of the hotel's fire & how the fire posed certain limitations for the hotel. The staff was friendly & I voiced my disappointment to one of the clerks & I was given a 15% discount and free putt-putt golf for myself & my son.”

“If you are planning to go to Luray Caverns, this is the hotel you may want to stay. Yes, this is a Days Inn. Nothing fancy. But it stands in a great location.”
