• Spacious.

“Generally a nice hotel. But the room we were given had not been cleaned since the prior occupant and were given a new one. On our second day, the cleaning was incomplete. No new glasses, soaps, ice bucket not refreshed.”

“The hotel was great. Priceline had told them we wanted a smoking room, so we had to change rooms. Many hotels have no smoking policies. This one did not.”

• The cookie that they give you at check-in for Doubletree is always so nice.
• The heater was window mounted.

“The Doubletree brand always gives you a cookie when you check in. I like that because I am usually hungry and I appreciate something sweet after a long trip. When I came in, there were gingerbread houses all throughout the lobby. The lobby is inviting and nice but I didn't stay there long as I was checked in right away. The hotel wasn't busy but still the staff was quick--no dilly dallying and I like that. My room was nice -- Neutrogena products in the bathroom. Granite countertops. Flatscreen TV and comfy beds. The view in the morning was amazing when the sun was rising with pink/orange just above the mountains and purple blue above that with a crescent moon. Fog hugged the mountain ranges. Plenty of room in decent sized rooms. I didn't like the window mounted heater/AC unit. I think that feels cheap. The parking wasn't so great because it was uncovered. In the morning as I was rushing off to my interview I was late because I didn't think about my car being frozen. My rental car also did not come with those ice scraper/brush things so I had to use the defroster.”

“Great location to the airport, shopping, and delivery of foods. Fantastic rooms with the best sleeping in town for the stars of the hotel. Front desk is wonderful and deliver great service. Indoor pool and hot tub.”

“Nice pool! Swam in it last year; merely looked at it this year. Tiny, but warm and clean. The new bedroom trash cans w/compartments for recycling are great.”

• The location and the surrounding views. The Hotel staff were very accommodating.
• The first room we checked into was fairly dirty.

• Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced.
• Newly refurbished, but maintenance issues and slow staff mar.

“The Doubletree is a refurbished 70's style hotel; the rooms are modern and comfortable, but there are parts of the hotels still stuck in the 70's. The dim, dank hallways are a put-off, and there seemed to be a lot of small maintenance issues, like broken toilet handles, missing irons (both rooms), stuck windows, etc. The absurd breakfast buffet is badly over-priced and uniformly poor quality; $12 a head for a buffet that's not as good as what's offered for free at competitive chains. Staff seems uniformly slow - it took 2 phone calls, 1 visit to the front desk, and 2 hours to obtain an clothes iron.”

• The room was spacious and surprised us greatly!
• Restaurant service wasn't great and the main carpet was old.

“We love this hotel. It is huge and has marble floors in the lobby. wow. The first impression is great. We also loved being next to walmart and IHOP.They were also installing Hd FLAT SCREEN TVs as we were checking out.”
