• Easy to get to/from and friendly staff.
• First room next to generator room noisy.

“The check in was a little slow due to computer problems, the indoor pool was closed. The rooms were comfortable but if you are next to the generator room it is too noisy to sleep, we moved to a different room. Staff was friendly and accommodating.”

• Location and ammenities in room (kitchenette).
• Extremely loud music next door at 12am-2am, nothing was done by staff.

“The hotel was in a good location and the kitchenette was nice to have. We arrived back at our hotel room at 12am and there was extremely loud music playing next door. We called the front desk and were told she would contact them. Waited 15 minutes, nothing changed. Called front desk and no answer. Went to front desk but no one was there. Called later and got an answer, was told that she tried to call the room and no one was answering. She said she would go to the room. Waited 30 min. Music still loud. Waited 45 minutes and called again, told us that she had already asked them to turn it down and she didn't know what to do. My husband suggested telling them to turn it off or leave because we had been up for almost 2 hours. Music eventually stopped. Overall customer service was poor!”

“The only good thing was the location. The room was dirty, the pool was closed, the staff was not very friendly, and the breakfast was very poor! I will do everything to not stay here again.”

• Overall, hotel wasn't up to par, the bed was hard and the decor mustard yellow as well as the wall.

“I would not recommend this hotel to others. The room wasn't pleasing to the eye and the bed was hard. The kitchen had roaches running around and the bathroom door had been removed for some reason. If I had someone traveling with me, there would not have been any privacy and the smell would've gotten all in the room. I would rate this hotel as poor.”

• Lack of concern for the traveler. Poor service. Unsafe.

“Stay away from this hotel. It is in an area that is not safe. The staff does not concern itself with your comfort. Locked out of our room due to an inventory at 10:00 at night. Our room was in a loud area where people were just walking around all night.”

• It was close to downtown and not far from the RBC center.

“This hotel was nice and clean. Newspapers available in the lobby. The courtyard was maintain. Same applied to the hotel room. It was close to everything a few minutes from downtown and less than 8mins from the RBC center. Places to site see near by, not far from multiplex and malls. It was nice to cook meals in the room. I was there for 6 days, would return had a blast.”

“Room was dirty, no toilet tissue, I remade bed. They cleaned room next day. They did say they were sorry. I would not stay there again. Almost left night of arrival. Due to it being dirty.”

• If I was planning to stay longer the kitchen area was perfect, fully equiped.
• The sitting area could have been a little larger.

• The parking lot was good.
• I don't agree that this is a two star. I don't like staying where people are cooking meals in their room.

“Best western, Holiday Inn Exp., Farifield, and Comfort Inns are 2 stars. This hotel has kitchens in the rooms, weekly rates and basic hard furnishings”

“It was easy to find, clean inside and well laid out, a newer hotel. Front desk was courteous but sometimes understaffed and preoccupied. Best of all was the indoor pool which I used each day. ”

• Hotel staff, room quality.

“If you want service, don't stay at the Homestead Suites. The front desk attendant figured it was too much of a burden for her to move me after the air-conditioning unit started leaking into the room: her question was "is it really that bad?". The staff was rude, and preferred talking on the phone with personal phone calls and having you wait at the desk as opposed to serving their customers.”

• Clean and comfortable. Four miles north of downtown.
• The carpeting beneath the heating and cooling unit was soaked. Closet door was stuck shut.

• The front desk clerk was excellent.
• Food from previous guest was left in fridge.

“Not to bad if you need a place to live for a short while. Again the price was right. This location is much nicer than the one by Crabtree.”

• Late check-in was good since we came from far away. Location was also very convenient to I-40 to get us back on the road again.
• The room was NOT a 'non-smoking', the smell was too intense, we both are allergic/could not breathe nor sleep well at all.

“It is fine if you do not mind smoking rooms, no continental breakfast during weekends nor usual toiletries available (I asked for shampoo and front desk had none).”

• The manager worked with me to get me in a non smoking room which turned out to be good.
• I was not given an option to select a non smoking room when making reservation so therefore when I got to the hotel I had a problem to get one.
