  • The hotel itself was very nice - great pool.
  • The location was a bit disappointing.

“The lobby and public facilities are very nicely maintained. The sports bar was reasonably priced and the staff friendly. The rooms are like most hotel rooms. The Starbucks was a nice treat, but the staff there seemed like we were an inconvenience.”

  • Employees very friendly, This hotel looked like it had been recently renovated, and the ambiance was extremely mid to top end.
  • The bartenders allow a guest to sit at the bar smoking on her phone loudly, without making a purchase at all. Outside is where that belongs.

“Wonderful. Will stay there this fall again for NHL game.”

  • Sound carries from hallway into room (could clearly hear people talking in hallway).

“Very clean, the room and bathroom were updated. The bed was bit too soft, but the pillows were wonderful. Nice TV in room.”

  • Clean, great location, and nice flat screen in room.

“I stayed here for one night. We were not able to have a early check in, but once we did, our room was immaculate. We had a 36 inch flat screen, great feather comforter, clean, and very upscale. I will stay here next time I go to Raleigh, NC.”

  • Very comfortable beds and attractive décor.
  • Still charges for internet service - that's very old-school.

“Very attractive hotel. Recently redecorated and updated. Close to many restaurants, shopping, etc. Still charging for high-speed internet, which is a pretty outdated concept. Even the budget hotels are now offering free internet - Hilton needs to rethink that part of their service.”

  • The Location.
  • The hotel staff seemed indifferent to our room situation.

“The hotel is in a prime location in the Raleigh area. We were close to several shopping areas and excellent restaurants. Our main problem stemmed from the indifference of the staff when we checked in and they did not have the room available we had reserved when making our reservations. We were told that they were not accountable for reservation errors. We then asked if we could be moved for the second night of our stay. The manager assured us that we would be accommodated. The next morning when we contacted the reservation desk we were told that they had no record of us being told we could move to a different room. I can not recommend this hotel due to the poor customer service by the front desk staff and the lies told to us by management. Beware that you may not receive the room that you reserved.”

  • The rooms were clean, the new LCD TV was nice, and the staff quite professional.
  • The pool area was under construction.

“The hotel was located conveniently to Downtown Raleigh without having to endure the lack of parking in the actual Downtown area. The staff members were friendly and the rooms were spacious.”

  • I felt like I was at home. The ambience was great.
  • I had to leave.

“I loved my stay at the Hilton. The price that I paid for the stay I had was not fair. The room was fresh and clean towels where nice and thick. The hospitality I was shown was tremendous. The concierge was helpful and knowledgeable in giving directions. I enjoyed the bar downstairs. My expectations where met 110 percent. Great location my only regret was I had to leave.”

  • Excellent quality - furniture/bed. Average quality towels.
  • Poor sound insulation.

“The hotel was excellent in most aspects. I unfortunately had a room next to the 3 elevator doors. I was therefore subjected to listening to extraneous sounds throughout the night. My own fault, I should have requested a different room. Flat panel TV would get excellent review if connected to HD. also had to pay $13/day for internet service.”

  • Cleanliness and elegance and the price.
  • The skybox bar, it's a sports bar dive in an otherwise nice hotel.

“Liked everything but the hotel bar. Staff was friendly, parking easy, location excellent, room quiet and a nice size, good health club. They Skybox bar, though, is a bit of a dive. Not much personality; doesn't attract a business or more mature crowd as you might expect to be staying at a Hilton.”

  • The large TV. The lobby was impressive.
  • The door needs to be more soundproof-noisy in halls.

“The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom needs a venting system. The linens were first rate and the bed was comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay.”
