• Their kitchenette was great and I enjoyed it.
• There is no scenic attractions, no continental breakfast, and no real fitness center.

• They had a full kitchen with dishes in each room.
• Last renovation to the hotel is overdue.

“This hotel is perfect for the budget conscious family who want kitchen in room so they can save on dining. The staff is excellent and are why I would recommend this to family and friends! The hotel itself needs updating as it hasn't been done in awhile. I get the impression this place is more for extended stays. Very conveniently located, several stores and restaurants within short walking distance.”

• Extremely friendly staff and very helpful.
• Needed some repairs and renovations.

“Other than some repairs and some renovations the hotel was a nice place to stay. Adequate for my purpose. I would probably stay there again. The staff was very friendly.”

• The hotel was kind of shabby.

“There were a lot of shady-looking construction and other workers staying there and the look of the clientele matched the feel of the hotel. It was an ok value for the money I spent, but I would call it an economy motel.”

• Customer service was fabulous, all staff was very friendly and accommodating, pool was a nice surprise, bowls and plates in room were a plus.
• Stains in the ceiling of our room, property overall was frayed around the edges.

“The hotel was not cleaned stained floors throughout the halls. The room was dirty the bed was not made. We switched rooms into another non-smoking room that smelled like a bar. It was unbearable.”

• No cleaning supplies available.

“There were nicks on the wall but the actual room was very clean. The stairwells and hallways smelled a bit and could use a little cleaning. My biggest issue was that I wished they had provided dish soap and a scrubbing pad for the dishes. Good for family or someone that just needs a place to eat and sleep for cheap.”

• Studio Plus is an excellent hotel with an excellent staff and Location.
• Nothing, It was great.

“If able to stay at Studio Plus, I would recommend it highly. I have stayed at Extended Stay America and at the Homestead and they are not desirable to stay at as this one. Although they will meet accommodations, they just don't seem to be the same as this Hotel. I made my reservations again this week in Raleigh and was highly disappointed to be staying at the Extended Stay America. Although all 3 of the Hotels charge you $4.99 for internet for the entire stay there, they are not high speed internet. And it seems to me that Studio Plus has the least of problems with the internet than the other 2.”

• Plenty of room space.
• Wireless internet was very slow and virtually useless.

“I was greeted and propositioned by a hooker in the lobby before I was able to get to the front desk, with my wife fifteen feet behind me. Our electronic room keys stopped working for no reason two days into our four day stay and it took three trips to the front desk with my wife waiting in a dark hallway to get it right. The room itself was fine once we could get inside.”

• Rooms were not ready, Carpets very dirty.

“The hotel appearance was poor. The elevator smelled and broke down a couple of times and there were holes in the walls that were patched, which made us uneasy. We have stayed at the same hotel brand 15 minutes away and there is no comparison. With so many deferred maintenance items this hotel should be downgraded to a 1 star.”
