• Nothing.
• I was given smoking, my child has asthma.

“Could not have been worse, neighboring room was full of partying men, my room was so filled with smoke, ashtrays and stench, I left windows open to breath for the few hours I could stand it. My things smelled of smoke so much for the next three days from having been in the room for that short period of time. Horrifying experience.”

• They entered my room without my knowledge or permission.

“Being nestled off the road with several other longer stay facilities in a wooded area makes the environment quiet, relaxed, and soothing. Interior is clean with plenty of room for working.”

• Right off the highway, close to restaurants and shopping. Easy to get to.
• Front desk girl was less than intelligent. There was not a smoke detector in the room.

“Overall, good for the price. Was only there for business and it met my basic needs (sleep and shower). Hallways were a little stinky and there was no smoke detector in the room, which worried me a bit. Wish they had free WiFi.”

“The room had a small kitchen with a full size fridge and was also spacious. The staff was extremely friendly, polite, and courteous.”

• The accommodations were neat and clean.
• They were painting and up fitting the lobby but it was a necessary evil. The new hardwood floors in the elevator looked nice.

“This is the last hotel on the street but they saved the best for last. The landscaping and outside facade are elegant. Having kitchen facilities, even if you're just staying one night, enables a person to have a regular diet and takes the edge off road trips. The hotel is secluded and surrounded by lush trees. The extended stay in North Raleigh had a very comfortable feel.”

• Nice to have kitchen (no oven). Nice friendly staff and quiet location.
• The beds are awful. Hard mattress, flat pillows.

“Nice people improved the place. The hotel got the jobs done without fuss. The beds were very uncomfortable though. Should have had an oven.”

• Ratty bedspread; stained mattress; hair on pillowcase; smoke smell in non-smoking room.

“It was worth what I paid for it, but not any more. My first impression from the outside and lobby was good, but the room reeked of smoke while designated as non-smoking, and the bedspread looked worn out and dirty. So that killed my first impression of the room itself. The efficiency was a nice touch, especially the refrigerator.”

• It was in a quiet area off of a busy street and the hotel itself was quiet too!
• Being so far in the back of a dead end street without enough adequate street lights.

“Although, the hotel was at the end of a dead end dark street, it was perfect for my boyfriend and I to spend quality time together. The facility was clean, the staff friendly and very peaceful for the most part. Since it is geared towards business travelers, the fact there was a fully functional kitchenette with refrigerator worked perfectly for us. We ate out one night and I made us dinner another night which added to our closeness this weekend. Thank you for affording us the opportunity to get our couple time in and still spend time with family and friends too.”

• Location to interstate, downtown and NC State was great. Hotel was clean and nice, no frills just full kitchen and cleanliness.
• The full size bed was a little small for my girlfriend and I, but since it was one night it was ok.

“This was really great for the one night, we stayed in Raleigh, NC. It was clean and quiet! The location to downtown was quick and easy, as well as NC State. Which helped us find a good bar! It is right off I-440 but you couldn't really tell at all. Definitely, I would go back.”

• Smell and dirty sheets on the beds.

“I called the hotel t request adjoining rooms and upgrade to two beds. They did upgrade for an additional cost and said that they did not have adjoining rooms, but would put us close together. When we checked in one room was #301 and the other was #237. Not only on were they on different floor but they were both as far from the elevator as you could get, in opposite directions. The whole building smelled like mildew. In an Extended Stay hotel you would expect a hair dryer and shampoo, there was none. The mattress was a rock and the pillows were so flat that I was grateful I had remembered to bring my own.”

• The front desk staff were excellent & love the kitchen area.
• This hotel is an Extended Stay hotel so don't give you housekeeping service if you don't stay over 7 days. I did not like that.

“The general location was very nice. The front desk staff were great. The hotel & my room was clean. I feel housekeeping service should be given whether your stay is extended up to 7-days or more or less. And I should not have to carry dirty wet towels through the hall to get cleaner towels. Nor walk down a hall to get more toilet paper.”

“The staff was pleasant. A lot of parking and the space was adequate. The laundry center was a great touch. I will pack less next time.”

• Upon arrival, the receptionist was pleasant.
• I was told that I could get passes to a gym, upon arrival I was told that was not true.

“If you want a good night's sleep, this hotel is aces! I wanted to keep up with my exercise program and was told I could when I called, upon arrival; I was told that the "overnight" receptionist had "misinformed" me.”
