“We enjoyed the hotel & coffee in the lobby. People were friendly & helpful. I would recommend it, if someone wants to stay back from the ocean.”

“Hotel was very nice---room very nice--only complaint is that it was too far from the beach.”

“The hotel is a little out of the way. It is close to a few breakfast joints though that are very good. It is not a 3 star motel in any way. I would rate it a 2 because it is clean and well presented but far from upscale.”

“This was a nice hotel in a quiet section of Little River. If you don't mind driving 10 to 20 minutes to get to anything and not being close to a beach, this is good.”

“I booked this room on priceline.com at the end of August. Since it was such a great deal I wasn't really sure what to expect. When I arrived, the receptionist was very nice and I was relieved to see that the room we were staying in was recently remodeled, so we had new carpet and a nice HDTV. The room was very clean, and the bathroom was great - the water pressure from the shower was PERFECT! I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The only downside is that it takes about 20 minutes to get to Myrtle Beach for the price, it was well worth it!”

“This hotel was well worth what we paid for it. There were 2 adults and 3 kids staying in a 2 bed room on the 4th floor. There was plenty of room to set up a pack and play for the youngest child. The room decor was very nice. There was an exercise room on the 4th floor. Hall smelled a little like smoke at times (from other rooms that were smoking) but never had a smell in our room at all. There are pets allowed in certain rooms as well. No allergy problems with it. We thoroughly enjoyed this stay.”

“For the price we were able to get through Priceline I would definetly stay here again or recommend it to others. It was clean, easy in and out, fresh coffee always available in lobby, and Front Desk staff was very nice and helpful. The beds were even good and firm for my bad back! I slept well.”

“I liked the renovations. They made the hotel look upscale in quality, especially when you walk down the hallway. The beds were so very comfortable. The staff were especially friendly and gave us an extension to 1:00 to checkout. The only thing we didn't like was small menu options for room service and the lack of a/v hookups on all TV's. The bathrooms needed better cleaning also. Overall, we would definitely stay again. We felt we received a good deal here.”

“This hotel was a very good quality stay in terms of the cleanliness and amenities. The staff was very friendly. The location was pretty good not to far from beach access. The only downside was that management couldn't do anything about a barking dog that guests left in a room on our floor unattended two nights straight.”

“The hotel was under remodeling during my stay. The hotel restaurant was open for two hours a day. The exercise room was less than adequate. There is not alot of room for parking. The beach is about a 15 minute drive from the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“The hotel did a great job in renovating the hotel. I widh they had a ice machine on every floor and more than one elevator.”

“The hotel was very nice. We only used it to sleep. We had family staying in N. Mrytle Beach. The Hotel had a beautiful scenery with the Marina in the back with the boats. Looks like a picture you would put together as a puzzle. The only thing was not the greatest was that the elevators were out due to a storm they had a few days before we got there and they wouldn't be fix until the following Tuesday. So you had to walk up the stairs to get to your rooms. Not as easily done with luggage. But the staff was more than eager to help you out if you needed it. They were redecorating the hotel and the carpet was being done on our floor so you had to watch out for them and you could smell carpet glue! But it was very nice place to stay!”

“A good price in peak season near Myrtle Beach for sure. Relieved we were able to get non smoking, two queen beds, and a renovated room with new carpet. We were traveling with a 10 month old baby and a 5 year old, so non smoking and cleanliness was very important. Lady at front desk was awesome. She was friendly and helpful throughout our stay of 6 nights. I liked the location even though not right at the beach. It was an easy 2-3 mile drive to Cherry Grove Beach. We went to N Myrtle one day as well and it was super close too. Nice area, quiet. Pretty Marina. Nice boardwalk all around the Marina for great walking. Pool was small, outdoor only, but warm water and good for late day family fun. Kids eat free in the restaurant. Food was good and service was great. Bad part was it needs renovations. Again, we were lucky enough to get renovated room. But painting was going on around elevators and entrances. Recarpeted our hall while we were there. Glue smelled horrible. I did like this hotel and the location, but renovations were so involved that they really should have shut down and completed them instead of causing inconvenience to guests. Safety of guests should have been more of a concern.”
