• Clean room and
  comfy beds.

“I was very pleasantly surprised with my stay. I had read a few of the prior reviews and did not know what to expect. The desk clerk was friendly and made sure that I received a non-smoking room. The room was very clean, comfortable and recently remodeled. (and I'm very picky about cleanliness) Yes, I would stay at this hotel again.”

• Hotel staff very friendlyand cooperative.
• One elevator, long wait , other elevator was broken.

“Great location, the mall is very close by. The air conditioner and heater are the old fashion kind that run all the time. It's a fairly old hotel, with only one elevator. Parking area was dark.”

• It was clean and neat and very efficient.
• Had to go to the bottom floor outside to smoke... no upstairs smoking area.

“This was a very friendly hotel very clean and tidy. It worked well for our anniversary. We stayed during a time when K-9 Cops from all over the US were there, so safety was no problem. We would have liked an outside stairwell or something on our floor that allowed us to smoke outside though.”

• Extremely helpful staff.
• Hallway carpet needs cleaning.

“This hotel was a pleasant surprise. When we arrived the front desk receptionist was very friendly (even at our arrival at midnight). The room was modest but clean and included free high speed internet (which was difficult to find in this town)! My husband also enjoyed the heated lamp in the bathroom.”

• The location along the greenway trail, by the mall and an easy exit off of Rte 70 and 440 was terrific.
• The room had a strong musty odor.

“Cosmetic upgrades make this hotel look nice, but the musty odor of the room could not be overcome. Fortunately, we didn't need to spend much time in the room because of the hotel's central location to the terrific Raleigh greenway trail, the Crabtree Mall and to downtown sites.”

• This hotel is in a good location. That's the only good thing about it.
• Dirty. dark and dingy rooms.

“This hotel was recently renovated. I stayed there before the construction, during, and now after. I don't see much of a difference. The shower put out cold water and the room was dark and funky smelling. The halls had water spots on walls and peeling paint. I first had a handicapped room with stains on the bathroom floor and a dirty toilet. This is also a smoking hotel with smoking and non-smoking rooms alternating in the halls. Who came up with that scheme. This is a 1 star hotel at best.”

• The hotel staff was friendly and nice and the hotel is close to the mall and restaurants in the area. That was the best part.
• The hotel needs to be updated. The hallways had a stench as soon as you stepped off the elevator. Lobby was nice, rooms are not.

“I personally would not prefer to stay at this hotel again. The lobby area was nice and looks modern but as soon as you step onto the elevator the whole atmosphere changes. Stepping off the elevator there was a stench in the hallway. The rooms need updating but they seemed clean. The bathroom had hairs from a previous guest in the shower. For the price I guess it was fine. Only thing going for it is location.”

• Quite location. Spacious parking lot.
• Felt uncomfortable in room with 2 beds. Felt spooky.

• The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and fully furnished with a king bed and a couch.
• The vanity in the bathroom was too small to stow items.

“The hotel met our needs. It was clean and updated. It was very quiet and comfortable. It was in a good location with access to main roads.”

• The friendliness and competence of the staff.
• The bottom sheet on the bed kept coming off. The pool was not in operation for 5 days.

“I think it was located within easy reach of anything you were looking for. Malls movies dining. A short ride and you were there. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. I wish the bottom sheets would stay on but the mattresses & pillows were really comfy. I would stay there again.”

• The staff did try to make up for the inconvenience I had by not having internet service.
• The broadband internet rarely worked and when it did I was kicked off constantly.

“I was moved to three rooms before the second night stay. As a business traveler I have to have internet service for company business. Shortly after I turned it on I started getting kicked off like I was on dial up. Eventually it went out all together. At six the next morning they moved me to another room that they had checked and found it had Internet sometimes. I was moved again during the day to a room that had Internet. That didn't work correctly either. The problem was not my computer but the terrible service. One of the workers took their laptop around the hotel trying to find a room that had service. I can honestly say they tried to help me but couldn't. I appreciated their efforts. I cannot recommend this hotel for business travelers or anyone who needs Internet service. I will not stay there again.”

• The staff was so friendly. The lobby area was very nice & the bed was comfortable.
• The carpet in our room must have been filthy (even if it didn't show it). The bottom of our socks turned black from the carpet!

“I was mostly impressed with the friendliness and helpful attitude of the front desk staff. Check in/out was a breeze. The lobby was very nice and our room was very nice as well (we were on the 8th floor). I wouldn't consider this a 3 star hotel. The location of the hotel was close to plenty of shopping, restaurants and downtown, but it didn't feel completely safe with people cutting through the parking lot.”

“The hotel is ok for business or a family trip but the main lobby elevator was out for my entire stay due to a water leak and the initial room I was assigned had not been cleaned. Thanks.”
