• It was close to the beach and in walking distance for shopping.
• I was not real clean and being in the smoking room didn't help.

• Location.
• Smelled musty in common areas; parking areas & lot entry were horrible.

“Good location but a low end hotel. Staff was unfriendly and breakfast sparse. Pool door was propped so anyone could have entered after hours - again not safe! We will not stay here again.”

“When presented with a problem, the staff is quick to react and attempt a correction. Overall, my stays here have been comfortable, affordable, and I will use this hotel again in the future.”

• It was convenient to the main street, & we enjoyed the waffles.
• The room was dusty, hair on floor/tub not enough towels. We had roaches!

“The hotel is okay for short stays. The room was minimally cleaned, and was short for towels. Had to request replenishments i.e. coffee, towels, trash/ice bags etc. However, the staff did try to correct any problems.”

• Hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful, good location to the beach.
• Towels were a little small, but clean and soft.

“This hotel was more than I expected for a Motel 8. We were pleased with the staff, the cleanliness and the location. I will highly recommend this hotel and will likely stay again in the future.”

• This place was dirty, we asked to have repairs done in the room for three days and when we left they had not been done.

“The elevator was beyond dirty. I was not cleaned the entire time we stayed there. We were told we would have an fridge and microwave. When we checked in we had neither and there was mold in the bathtub. We changed rooms and got one with the fridge and micro and we still had mold in the bathtub and an entrance light was burned out. We ask for repairs on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. We checked out on Wednesday and nothing had been done.”

• Pool was too shallow, only 1 waffle iron, had to wait to eat.

• Close proximity to beach.
• Non smoking room but had cigarette stains in several areas including the mattress.

“Liked the location and proximity to the beach. Rooms could use some refreshing-comforter did not seem clean and room could have been cleaner. Staff was very helpful and friendly.”
