  • The room was large.
  • The hallways were filthy.

“This hotel was not as bad as I expected it to be based on other rewiews. The hallways were filthy,butthe room was very clean and large.The bathroom was large and had a big bathtub there was plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable enough. I did not try the breakfast bar.They had HBO.”

  • This hotel is filthy and the staff is unaccommodating.

“Upon arrival the lobby and parking lot were generally dirty. Our room was even worse. The bathroom looked like the towels had been changed but the soap packages were wet and the shampoos were half used. The mirror and counter top had not been cleaned. On the coffee pot there was a large bunch of hair, as if pulled from a hairbrush. The non smoking room smelled of old cigarettes and mold. When I requested for housekeeping to come and clean the bathroom, the front desk told me that they would check if housekeeping had gone for the day. They never came, and no word was ever mentioned. At night when we returned to the hotel, there was no where to park and the front desk suggested that we just park in front of an abandoned building near by and that they hadn't seen anyone get towed. This is my first bad encounter. This whole experience was a complete disappointment.”

“The rooms reeked of smoke, was not properly cleaned after the last guest (ex; ash tray had still cigar butts from the previous occupant etc).”

  • The hot tub was very refreshing after a hard day.
  • The room was adjacent to an exit. Every time someone would exit, it would shut with a thud that shook the room.

“The free continental breakfast was good. It included hard-boiled eggs, fresh bagels, milk and juices of all kinds. That alone save my family $50 on breakfast charges.”

  • Sheets appeared to be clean.
  • Bathroom.

“Lots of construction, no parking. Older hotel with some updates. Bathroom was bad and it had lots of mold in the tub area. Also had a hole in the bottom of the tub, makes you wonder where the water ends up. This is not a 2 star hotel.”

  • Dingy hallways. Place needs a facelift.

“If you need to make an early flight at Buffalo-Niagara airport, this hotel is a good. The staff is very nice and helpful as well and they have quality Jhirmack bath items in the bathroom. There's a McDonalds right on the corner--important if you're worried about a long flight with no food on offer (there is a good spot in the airport which offers a killer beef on weck -not, however, at 6 am). That being said, the hotel needs a major facelift. The halls are dingy and even the non-smoking area smells funky.”

  • Location was pretty good for all points Cheektowaga, right across from the airport.
  • Not enough on site parking, congested check-in.

“Overall the hotel was adequate, on the low end of acceptable. Check in was night marsh, with cars lined up down the street and only two clerks (around 5:00 pm on a Friday). It took over 1/2 hour to check in. Parking was difficult, there did not seem to be enough spaces to accommodate all the guests. To be fair, there seemed to be re-modeling and reconstruction going on, so that probably accounted for much of the congestion and the lack of polish - it certainly accounted for the dust! The rooms, especially the bathrooms, were not all that clean either, however. For the price in the area, it was barely okay. However, the night we stayed, there was no room at the (other) inns so to speak!”

  • Hard to find the room. Very inconvenient from the main office.

“Just needed to sleep before a flight but walls were way too thin and could not sleep because of neighbors TV and talking. Next time I would spend more and stay at a Hilton so I could at least sleep.”

  • Convenient - close to the airport and about five minutes from my destination. I will most likely stay there again.
  • Was not in the hotel long enough to find something bad to report.

“A) The hotel had a friendly and knowledgeable staff when we arrived at the hotel. B) The rooms were clean and comfortable.”

  • Really poor, horrible service. Hotel staff talking about us and not respecting our privacy.

“This hotel experience was absolutely horrible. The staff were talking about us so we could hear them from tables away. We asked to not be disturbed because my husband was sleeping during the day so they called our room every single 1/2 hour just so they could get in and clean the room. Very poor experience overall.”

  • The location was great for a very early flight out.
  • I found the pool area to be dirty. By the hot tub there were ants crawling about.

“Overall the hotel met our needs very well. It was great and easy access to the airport. Having the shuttle to the airport was also a great help. I would have enjoyed it more if the extra pillows we had requested twice and never rec'd had been available and if the pool deck area had not had ants crawling about.”

“Location is right next to airport and just off the interstate, making it convenient. Beds were small, uncomfortable, and missing some bed sheets. Bathroom had paint chipping and mildew. Walls were not soundproofed and could hear TV from adjacent rooms. Doors opening and closing made loud noises, frequently waking me up.”

  • The hotel manager didn't want to give me credit.

“The rooms are a very bad smoke smell & after an ionizer was put in our room we still had to use air freshener just to stand the smell. I was told that it was an old hotel & all of the rooms smelled that way. I had to stay 9 days in this hell hole & I had someone put on my door do not disturb so they wouldn't have to clean our room.”

  • Too close to airport.

“The hotel was good value for money. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. The free continental breakfast was good and fresh with ample variety. I loved the free coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the lobby available 24/7. The parking area was quite dark and the sounds of planes flying overhead made it difficult to fall asleep (but only on the first night). Overall, I would recommend this hotel for one or two night stays.”

  • Good location, easy to find.
  • Poor facilities.

“The location is good and very easy to find. However the facilities are poor/very poor. The broadband connection is downloading a page takes 1/2 an hour. As for the free breakfast, go early to get something to eat else you may not find anything. Breakfast include boiled egg, bagel, cereal, milk and tiny muffins.”
