“The Plantation/ Embassy Suites is a great stay at the beach. (It also has a water park for people who do not want to face the waves or salt.) We had a wedding and simultaneous family reunion there and I think that everyone will always remember it.”

“The grounds and available amenities of this hotel were fabulous. Very family friendly. I wish the outdoor pool was heated. I also thought our condo would be ocean view and it was not. That said, the lake it faced was very pretty and it was a very short walk to the beach.”

“The resort was beautiful and we will probably go back we were very disappointed in how we were treated about the breakfast buffet. The "customer service" representative told us we did not gt breakfast because we got discounted room and when I explained that we chose this resort because one of the amenities was free a breakfast, she acted as if she did not believe us and was not concerned. ”

“We were very disappointed with this hotel - we had heard some really great things about it. Although our confirmation said we'd be staying at the Embassy Suites, we were put in a building next door. The A/C was broken, and it took over an hour. We were then told to move to another room where the a/c was also broken. All of this going on around 9:00 at night. Just getting someone to call us back was extremely difficult, and then we were told that they did not know where the repair person was. We also had no response to a request for coffee cups although we were told they'd be right up (no one ever did show). Hotel staff was not friendly or helpful (not even giving us directions to local attractions when asked). Children's program coordinator showed up late, unprepared and did not interact with the kids at all (shark tooth hunt). Someone dressed up as the Easter bunny was in the lobby area (clear sight of lots of kids), but refused to take pictures with kids who saw him/her unless they were paying customers of the photographer on site. How do you explain to your child that the Easter bunny only takes pictures with customers who have a photography appointment? Also, the outdoor pools were not heated. However, we were told the indoor pool at the health club was. When we went to the indoor pool, we were told the motor was broken, and the heat was not working.”

“Nowhere do I remember seeing this reservation say "condo" during the search process - only after I printed the conformation did I see "condo". I thought I was getting an embassy suite not a condo 100 yards from the hotel. To top it off; complementary breakfast was not included. Shame on me this time.”

“The bed in this room smelled very bad. The staff said it was owned by someone and not by embassy suites, so they could not remove the bad smelling bedding, but did bring fresher pillows. Other than that, my stay was great and would return again, assuming I could get a better maintained room. I did not receive room cleaning the second day at all and had to request clean towels. The owner of this property needs to replace all the bedding in room 1207g.”

“This is a perfect location to mix business with family leisure. The facilities are first class and the condo accommodations are excellent. The food served for lunch at the Grill was disappointing. The woman at the Concierge desk was not very helpful and gave inaccurate directions.”
