• It was convenient.
• I was located in a room that had obviously been a smoking room, the decor was shabby, the shower tile was mildewed, 3 lights didn't work.

“The hotel is obviously undergoing much needed renovation. I was put in a room that had not been renovated. The carpet was torn, the overall decor was shabby and worn, the tile in the shower was mildewed and although told there were no smoking rooms in the hotel, the room had obviously been a smoking room previously - the smell was unbearable. All of the lights on the wall that the headboard of the bed was on did not work. When I reported this to the front desk they asked if that was a problem for me! Having expressed that it was they then quickly brought me keys to another room but did not tell me where the room was located until I asked and did not offer any help for me to transfer to that room. Overall I was very disappointed with the hotel.”

• Consistent Holiday Inn Quality.
• Prefer a typical self serve breakfast, not a restaurant served toast and juice.

“Nice and clean, as expected from a Holiday Inn. A good value for the Buffalo area. Room was a bit small, probably due to larger handicap bathroom.”

• Beautiful, clean pool - always an advantage when kids involved.
• Odd layout. Doors to stairways stuck really bad, very noisy and loud when opened and closed.

“My son has allergies and we found the room to smell very dirty and like living in an ashtray. By morning he was completely stuffed up. I don't recall being given the option to choose a non smoking room. Next time I will be more careful.”

• The good thing is it is right off the highway.
• The plumbing is a big issue and the shower never could stay at one consistent temperature.

“Overall, I wouldn't stay at this one again due to the shower. It isn't a good way to start your day by getting blasted with cold water about every two minutes in the shower. The staff was friendly although there was a finished tray of food left outside someone's door for an entire day until the next morning. I also didn't have a remote for the TV in my room until the next day when they just switched out the TV with another room.”

• Availability of rooms.
• We were told that the room can accommodate 5 persons and additional bedding will be provided. But truly speaking it can accommodate only 2 people.

• It was easy to find and the room was larger than expected.
• They don't provide enough bath towels for their guests. We had four in a room and there were 3 towels.

“Everything was good. The pool, lobby, and rooms were very clean. The staff was friendly and we had no trouble finding it. I think it's in a good location.”

“The first room they gave me has urine all over the toilet seat, they gave me a second room, a handicap room, the shower and bed were miniature. I only showered from the waist down and to top it all off, when I went to go to sleep there were little hairs all over the bed! I almost slept in my car but ended up lying towels all over the bed to sleep. They didn't have any additional rooms available. Overall a horrible, disgusting experience! I was supposed to be there for 7 nights but ended up checking out the morning after my first night there and had to find another hotel last minute. There was no way I was staying there for another minute!”

• They are in the middle of renovations.
• It a little dated.

“Good location off the highway, it is close to some nice eating establishments in downtown Hamburg; the staff were very nice.”

• Front Desk staff very helpful and friendly.
• Rooms were aged. The un-remodeled portions of the hotel were dirty and unattractive.

“This hotel falls short of expectations for a 2.5 star hotel. I am a budget traveler and usually stay at 1-star places like Motel 6 and Extended Stay Suites. This hotel is less attractive and comfortable than those 1-star hotels. Compared to other 2-3 star hotels like Fairfield, Hampton Inn, Wingate, or La Quinta, it pales in comparison. The front desk staff is very good and the location is convenient. The remodeled hallways are much more attractive than the old ones, so this hotel may deserve its star rating when remodeling is completed.”

“Wait until this hotel is remodeled before you stay here. The beds are hard as a board. Don't stay during a buffalo bills home game b/c out of town fans will keep you up all night!”

• It was close to the bills stadium.
• The tub felt like you were showering in a waterbed, you could feel water under the tub.

“Room was clean and staff was nice. Worked well for us location wise, we needed something in that location as we were heading west the next day. This hotel was pretty much right on the I-90 so was a great spot to start our travels the next morning.”
