Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[8] • Location:[9]

  • Clean room even being very old motel.
  • Needs a renovation real bad.

“Marriott is good to sleep in peace.”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Conveniently located to JMU, the college we were checking out.
  • Very econo feeling; poor "breakfast", dingy small rooms, Motel 6-like.

“It served our purposes for a place to sleep for a few hours, but we wouldn't choose it again if we return to Harrisonbury. It was just cheap feeling; a much lower standard than most Day's Inns we've stayed in.”

Dec 26, 2007 by Tara from Kill Devil Hills, NC

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[1] • Location:[9]

  • Nothing but the price.
  • It was filthy.

“The staff was rude. I added an additional night and they couldn't find it. There were roaches in the room and it had a very bad odor. The pool and "spa" so to speak were in bad repair and rusted at the bottom. The spa was cold and needed repair badly. Overall, I would never stay at this hotel or recommend it to anyone.”

“We were pleased with this hotel. The staff was very friendly. Our reservation was ready when we arrived. The continental breakfast was good.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[5] • Location:[9]

  • Clean and conveniently located.
  • Asked me to come to front desk to retrieve a plunger to unstop our toilet.

“The only complaint I had was when our toilet stopped up they expected me to come to the front desk and get a plunger and unstop it myself instead of getting a maintenance personnel to do it.”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[6] • Location:[10]

  • Very close to James Madison University where we were visiting.
  • Beds were poor. Shower knobs were poor condition and broke so water could not be turned off. Did not get showers before leaving.

“-Beds were in very bad condition.-Maintenance was not up to speed.-Hotel looked and was old and run down, needs major remodeling.-Shower knobs extremely loose in wall and one broke off trying to turn it on. shower would not shut off and we could not get showers before departing in the morning.-Complimentary breakfast was poor.-Too many people waiting in line at counter and took too long to get service.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • The continental breakfast and hot tub were wonderful!
  • We didn't like the fact that our room was a smoking room.

“It was a great stay for us! We just wish we didn't have to buy air fresheners for the room. It would've been nice to have non-smoking as an option for our room.”
