“We found this hotel to be clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were exceptionally professional and solved a small problem with our room with courtesy and expeditiously.”

• The bed was so comfortable.
• The room was a little outdated.

“Loved the breakfast, the bed was great, but there were a few outdated elements, like the carpets and the ancient thermostat. There was no parking on site, but there was an indoor parking facility across the street that had all expensive vehicles, so we felt very safe leaving the car there.”

• The steakhouse EB Greens was amazing.
• The pool, sauna, steam room were across the street in some dirty random health club.

“In e been in the case of our last stay at the Hyatt in Buffalo, this seems true. The toilet was not fixed to the ground, the showerhead had separated from the wall, and the room in no way reflected the star rating of the hotel, or what my impressions of other Hyatts have been in the past. To top it off, the Hyatt Buffalo doesn't even have a pool. They send you across the street to a very dirty, gross, unclean, stinky (warning oxymoron) health club. I and my girl were thoroughly unimpressed. Last time we stayed in Buffalo we were at the Adam's Mark. Which were better value, better rooms, and a nice pool?”

“Outdated hotel in a bad location. Downtown Buffalo is empty and does not feel safe for travelers. Hotel looks and feels like it was great 20 years ago. Not anymore worth the star rating.”

• Hotel was clean and very well staffed.
• Downtown location felt unsafe and parking was across the road in a parking garage, with no valet in evening.

“Hotel was clean and well maintained. The amenities were good and the staff very friendly. The only problem was the parking and the Downtown location. The parking was in the next block of a very deserted Downtown core. The hotel offered no night valet service leaving you no choice but to be walking a neighborhood at night that most of us would avoid.”

• I chose this hotel b/c of the locations to HSBC arena and the falls.
• They were under renovations.

“Great for the business traveler. Only one mile from the arena and ballpark. If you have kids zoo and other great things right near by. Overall I would give 2 thumbs up and I would stay there again!”

• It was a beautiful hotel
• The safe parking was across the streets. Car got broke in if you parked on the street.

“We had a month old baby and had to park in a garage across the street. Which it was always full. We had to drop the people off at the door, then go park in the garage. The garage was $5.00 every time you go in. The hotel had unlimited parking for $14.00. But that is not a deal. I called a week before arriving. They told be a can get an extra room for half off. Once we arrive, they told me that is not true. Called me a liar. The shower got cold after the first person for at least 2 hours. Overall I would recommend this hotel. Just be safe!”

• Walking distance to everything, very comfy bed, nice room layout, good showerhead.
• No bed skirt, so bed didn't look made & no pool.

“We had a fabulous stay at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Buffalo. The room was large and clean, and the staff was able to accommodate all of our needs. Unfortunately, when we last stayed at the Adam's Mark, it had an indoor pool, but we had no time to use it, whereas this time, we had the time, but there was no pool. That would've been a nice addition.”

• Leaf players stayed here! We met some.
• No mini fridge in the room.

“Best hotel to stay at if youre going to a Buffalo Sabres game. It's close to rink, bars for afterwards and within walking distance to everything you'd need.”

• Staff were very friendly and accommodating with me and my friends (who were rambunctious).

“By far the nicest hotel in Buffalo. This hotel is right beside the train that takes u to the HSBC arena for free on game nights. Also, hotel is located less than a block from the Chippewa bar district (no expensive cab rides). Staff are very patient and understanding. Beds and pillows were awesome. Highly recommended.”

“I liked the hotel a lot - but it should be made known that the pool is part of the athletic centre and that it is not in the greatest shape and only available to kids on the weekends.”

• Only suggestion would have been a pool area.

“We had an excellent with a helpful staff that freely provided directions and recommendations for other activities in the area. Its proximity to the trolley cars was an added bonus and the rooms were clean and modern.”

“This was my first bad experience at a Hyatt. Other than the front desk, all service was bad. Room was never cleaned, heavy smoke from other rooms in the hallways, 1.5 hours to get breakfast Saturday morning.”

• The novelty of having an ice bar was fantastic, great atmosphere, the locals, and staff was friendly.
• There is nothing at this time that I can think of that I can say bad about my experience at this hotel.

“In my experience as a traveler to large cities, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone traveling through Buffalo. The amenities this hotel offers far exceeded my expectations. I will most definitely stay here again while in Buffalo.”
