“I think this hotel was in a great location to the beach we could walk to it easily with our children and it was close to eateries and shopping. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and the pool was nice our kids enjoyed it. I would stay there again.”

• The room, especially the bathroom, was clean. Laundry facilities were inexpensive. Everything worked as it should.
• There were no batteries in the remote.

“This hotel is close to the beach and very appropriate for travelers, both business and leisure. I would stay here again.”

• I like the location and that was it.
• The crack head maintenance guy trying to sell us drugs.

“The maintenance guy steals you alcohol and tries to sell you drugs. He also comes to your room at 6am asking for money and the hotel owners do not do anything about it. He stole $20 from a friend and he also took the rest of our tequila.”

• We already email customer service and no reply since yesterday.

• The hotel was very close to two restaurants and convenient to several attractions in downtown myrtle beach.
• Many things needed updating in our room.

“This hotel is obviously older and needs an extensive facelift. That being said, it is very close to several restaurants and attractions in downtown myrtle beach. The staff was friendly and helpful and what little time we spent in the room was comfortable. I would not recommend this room for anyone planning to spend a lot of time in it.”

• It was one block from the beach and right on the "strip" so everything was within walking distance.
• There was no parking well there was but only 1 space per room so if you had a friend visit it took hours to find parking.

“I think that this is a great hotel for the money. I didn't see anything bad about the hotel at all.”

“Family owned and operated this hotel was home away from home. All requests were received in a friendly manner and carried out promptly. We would definitely return to this hotel.”

• Room was tiny, that's my only complaint but it was a tiny room, too small.

• It was very close to beach and attractions, and seemed to be in a safe area.
• There was some difficulty finding parking, had to use lot across the street.

“The super 8 was a clean, comfortable place to stay that was very conveniently close to the beach and attractions, not to mention restaurants, all within a few minutes away. I was happy with my experience at the super 8 and would go back again.”
