• I liked the location (on the beach) and the facilities.
• Nothing, except on what I described below # 16.

“The hotel is in a great location. The Hotel is located ocean front, but not all the room is oceanfront and ocean view. My room is facing the parking lot.”

• The front desk people (I had opportunity to speak with two) were extremely friendly and helpful.
• The balconies were too close to each other.

• Nice location with minimal traffic.
• We stayed in a smoking room and they allowed pets. Dogs barked a lot.

“The experience was good with the only complaints of loud pets in the adjacent rooms and the room reeked of smoke.”

• Very clean and romantic.
• We loved everything.

“My husband and I truly needed a break from all the usual day to day work activities. We had a wonderful time at your hotel, we were truly impressed with the staff they were all so very friendly and helpful. The bed slept wonderful also! We really liked that the hotel was convenient to the beach.”

• Room clean and comfortable with fridge, micro and TV and clean updated bathroom.
• Pool area old, junky, small.

“Adequate but small, old pool area but rooms newly decorated and bathrooms redone and clean. Away from crowded tourist things, had to drive everywhere but close to Murrells Inlet seafood restaurants.”

• Close to beach.
• No privacy on balconies.

“The hotel was acceptable for the most part. Staff was great. My biggest complaint was that the balconies were not at all private. The next room could see into mine and vice versa. They need to consider privacy partitions between balconies.”

• The rooms were clean. The bedding was clean and soft.
• The room was small.

“Overall it was a pleasant stay. We were out a lot so we did not have a lot of staff contact, but when we did it was pleasant. The housekeeper was especially pleasant.”

• Location.
• Room was small, poor internet service, room view was horrible.

“I loved the location of this hotel and I might stay here again but I would be more apt to look elsewhere first. Our room was small and the sliding glass door wouldn't open (2nd floor) because we had the rooftop view of the overhang in front of the hotel. The staff needs to be more courteous.”

• Hotel was clean, reasonably priced and staff was friendly.
• Restaurant breakfast was overpriced.

“I would definitely recommend this hotel. For the price and location, it was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. Rooms were a bit small compared to Hilton but not cramped. Go to one of the local restaurants for breakfast as hotel restaurant is overpriced for what you get. I would stay there again.”

• Location on the beach.
• The pull down bed was comfortable and the view of the roof and roof vents was not appealing.

“The hotel staff and personnel were extremely friendly. The room was fine except for the pull down bed and view. The restaurant served small portions for the price.”

• Noisy, fireworks were being set off on the beach until late each night.

“Small room, no kitchenette, just a small fridge and micro. table and 2 chairs. Had to move the coffee maker to the floor to plug in.”

• Beautiful views, great decks, nice rooms, excellent pool on the beach.
• Breakfast buffet and on-site restaurants seemed like an afterthought. Not good.

“The hotel is located off busy Hwy 17, down a quiet road and on the corner of the beautiful ocean drive. Great access to restaurants and shops with the ability to really feel as if you're "getting away from it all" when you get to the hotel and your room. Ocean View balconies are small, but adequate for a relaxing lounge. The pool area is great, ample seating, outdoor bar and hot tub and right on the beach. Skip the on-site restaurant. Food is not very good and overpriced and there are so many near-by eateries that are much better.”

• Our first impression of the staff ruined us to be able to say anything nice.
• The staff, the extremely small room, very dingy feeling!

“We asked for a king room if they could do that and it was like asking for all of our meals free. They were very condescending! For a three star hotel I expected a lot nicer rooms, they were very small and did not feel clean at all. Our view was over the roof and an air conditioning unit. When my husband went down stairs to purchase a coke, the staff was huddled behind the desk talking loudly and condescending to another couple. He could not bare to stand there in line to pay for his drink so he put it back and decided to for go that idea. The next morning we asked for a little extra time to get out of the room and once again treated terribly and we were (as Expected) declined. We only asked for an extra half hour to get our things repacked. Right as we were about to leave our room the maid knocked as if they timed it to the exact minute of check-out. I have never been treated so terrible by any hotel. In the past thirty days we have stayed at twenty-five different hotels in different cities due to my husbands new company and this one was the worst.”

• Excellent rooms, very enjoyable dinner in the hotel's restaurant, pool area clean and well maintained.
• Nothing.

“We will definitely stay here again. Very clean and updated hotel. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Our stay was in April and the weather was unseasonably cool, however we enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. The hotel is located in a residential area so if you're looking to walk to stores etc. This wouldn't be the place for you. However if you would like peace and quiet it is perfect.”
