• Close to the beach. Good location.
• Our room was VERY small.

“Close to the beach. Room was clean but very small. Don't like the dogs in hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• Unfortunately there is nothing to say.
• We asked for a non-smoking room, but got a smoking, front desk was not helpful.

“If you enjoy smelling like smoke, or the smell does not bother you, then this hotel is for you! The front desk personnel, are unwilling to help, even when the solution seems so easy.”

• Oceanfront views and bar staff.
• The front desk people were rude and unknowledgable.

“Overall good experience, the housekeeping staff and bar staff were excellent but the front desk people would not give any advice of where to go around the area. They were also rude when you would ask simple things like requesting pool towels and didn't know alot about the surrounding area at all.”

• The location was great and on the beach.
• My room key kept having to be reset after we went out.

“I was overall satisfied with the hotel. The location was perfect and the lack of excessive of children in the hotel. My only complaint is that every time we left the hotel and I was room was serviced, our key card did not work. I had to go back downstairs to have it reset every day I was at the hotel.”

• Stunning few of the ocean, and great staff
  at the front desk.
• Pool was heated but could have been turned up a few degrees due to the cold temperature outside for guest enjoyment.

• I enjoyed the oceanfront location and convenience to area restaurants.
• It was a little out-dated appearing.

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay, especially considering the price. It's certainly not The Ritz but it did meet our needs. The staff was friendly and the oceanfront location was fantastic. The hotel was nice and quiet. Room was pretty nice (a bit out-dated appearing), however, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nicer than I had anticipated. Would stay there again.”

• I liked the location (on the beach) and the facilities.
• Nothing, except on what I described below # 16.

“The hotel is in a great location. The Hotel is located ocean front, but not all the room is oceanfront and ocean view. My room is facing the parking lot.”

• The front desk people (I had opportunity to speak with two) were extremely friendly and helpful.
• The balconies were too close to each other.

• Nice location with minimal traffic.
• We stayed in a smoking room and they allowed pets. Dogs barked a lot.

“The experience was good with the only complaints of loud pets in the adjacent rooms and the room reeked of smoke.”

• We loved everything.

“My husband and I truly needed a break from all the usual day to day work activities. We had a wonderful time at your hotel, we were truly impressed with the staff they were all so very friendly and helpful. The bed slept wonderful also! We really liked that the hotel was convenient to the beach.”

• Room clean and comfortable with fridge, micro and TV and clean updated bathroom.
• Pool area old, junky, small.

“Adequate but small, old pool area but rooms newly decorated and bathrooms redone and clean. Away from crowded tourist things, had to drive everywhere but close to Murrells Inlet seafood restaurants.”

• No privacy on balconies.

“The hotel was acceptable for the most part. Staff was great. My biggest complaint was that the balconies were not at all private. The next room could see into mine and vice versa. They need to consider privacy partitions between balconies.”

• The rooms were clean. The bedding was clean and soft.

“Overall it was a pleasant stay. We were out a lot so we did not have a lot of staff contact, but when we did it was pleasant. The housekeeper was especially pleasant.”

• Room was small, poor internet service, room view was horrible.

“I loved the location of this hotel and I might stay here again but I would be more apt to look elsewhere first. Our room was small and the sliding glass door wouldn't open (2nd floor) because we had the rooftop view of the overhang in front of the hotel. The staff needs to be more courteous.”

• Hotel was clean, reasonably priced and staff was friendly.
• Restaurant breakfast was overpriced.

“I would definitely recommend this hotel. For the price and location, it was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. Rooms were a bit small compared to Hilton but not cramped. Go to one of the local restaurants for breakfast as hotel restaurant is overpriced for what you get. I would stay there again.”
