• Connie remembered us from our previous visits and had the nonsmoking room selection set for us!
• Construction out front blocked the driveway access.

“We have stayed with Comfort Inn many times and have never had a bad experience. They cater to a family member with special needs when he travels wit us. It makes the trip much more enjoyable when you know you are no worries at the hotel.”

• Good location & easy access. Quiet & clean.
• Sheets were so rough that I got an abrasion on my elbow while turning in bed.

“It was a good value. Close to the hospital and quiet. I do feel that I got a second rate room from them because there was no phone in the room and there was coffee, but the coffee maker was gone. Luckily, I was only there to sleep and there was coffee in the dining area.”

• The breakfast was outstanding!
• Nothing to report!

“The comfort university hotel was clean, bright and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of foods bagels, toast, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, hot coffee, juice, etc. I will stay there again when in Durham, NC.”

• Location was very good, room was clean, and continental breakfast was great.
• The hallway smelled of smoke and musty should be aired better.

“It is a modest hotel but served our purpose well. I wonder if the smoke from lower floors rises and therefore the smoky hallway. Maybe smoking rooms should be on the upper floors.”

• Poor plaster patching in room, some mold in room.

“Pleasant atmosphere, helpful desk staff. Breakfast buffet did not keep up with the crowds taking advantage of the service (out of tea bags, yogurt, and juice).”

• The location had plenty of restaurants around so we didn't have to go very far.
• Nothing really.

• Very close to UNC, restaurants and stores.
• Our room smelled like a bar at 2am, even though they tried to lessen the smell.

“The Hotel staff was nice, helpful, the pool area was clean, our room looked nice, but, the smoke smell was so bad, our suitcases, clothes and my purse smelled like smoke. Our daughter chose to leave her things in the car so they didn't stink. The Hotel was good, the smell was bad.”

• Nice, clean outdoor pool. Good complimentary continental breakfast.
• Dumpster next to the door from parking lot.

“Good location, short drive to UNC campus. Friendly staff, nice breakfast with large selections, clean outdoor pool. Rooms are very basic, but clean. Only complaint was the access to the room from the parking lot. The entrance was next to the dumpster and was not very inviting.”

• Nice and clean good location.
• It was a little further from uncle than I wanted. But for the price it was great.

“The comfort inn university has a great location. Just a minute off interstate 40. There are a lot of restaurants around it. Also south point mall is only a few exits away. Very friendly staff, clean and nice decor.”

• The bathroom was quite small and the tub did not drain well.
