“This was a very nice, clean sleep-over motel if you plan to leave during the day and come back after supper while visiting the local area.”

• Shower made loud creaking sounds when you stepped in it.

• It was right off of the turnpike.
• The continental breakfast was not replenished soon enough.

“The gentleman working at the front desk also organized the continental breakfast. The coffee was empty and there were no donuts.”

• Friendly staff and was helpful.
• No hand rail in the bathtub.

“Upon check in Virginia was friendly and helpful. The manager was also helpful. Basic breakfast was juice, coffee, cereal, bread/muffin and apples. Room was clean, sink was separate from toilet/shower. The desk was small and there was no handrail for the shower which was raised causing problems getting in and out of the tub/shower. Overall reasonably.”

• The price.
• Proximity to Highway.

“Overall, it was an old Days Inn, so we knew what we were getting into. My biggest issue was that my room was only about 30 feet from the Turnpike. It sounded as if trucks were going to drive through my room. Also, don't plan on the continental breakfast. Three stale doughnuts and the heel of a loaf of bread do not qualify as breakfast.”

• The area was run down.
• The area was scary.

“Comfortable hotel. No luxury here. As a woman I would have been uneasy going here by myself. I did sleep well here though, beds were comfortable and pillows were fluffy. This was unexpected.”

• Hated it.
• Bathroom was filthy, room smelly. Scary location.

“The room smelled really bad. It was right off of the pa turnpike literally. So you here all the traffic noise. Very dark parking area. My bathroom had not been cleaned there was hair all over the place and the bar of soap from the previous guest was still there. Quite gross.”

• The Bathrooms need to have a lot more attention spent on cleanliness.

“Overall experience was average. The bathrooms were dirty around the tub and the seams of the surround were black. Fix this problem and the ratings would go up.”

• Very comfortable beds, soap not obnoxiously perfumery, gift pack, wireless.
• Bathtub too small.

“Very nice, comfortable, and good service for a one-star. Clean, pleasant, friendly. I really liked the idea of the traveler's pack with samples and coupons (I hope this is the right place), and wireless access. The code for wireless access was too hard to find. It should be somewhere permanent in the room. Now with phones, computers, and all, there are never enough electrical jacks in hotels. That would be a major help's stayed at so many places and it was so long ago---was this the place that said, "if a towel is on the floor it means to replace it, if it is on the rack it means it will be used again." I like green-friendly gestures like this. I'd also like to see recycling bins and ways to tell housekeeping that I didn't use something, like linens on the second bed. I have always been pleased with.”

• It's location to seven springs ski lodge. We go there every year.
• Heat did not work properly and the toilet ran all night!

“Had another reservation with a group and they gave it away and could not tell me why. Ask for a non-smoking room because my son has asthma and was told that all that was available was a smoking room. ”

“They can both be classified as dumps that were dirty. These facilities are not up to your standards and I doubt if you would take your family to them. What do I do next?”

• Nothing, it was a great motel.

“The motel is right off the turnpike exit, it is quiet, very clean, and had good mattresses. The local staff was friendly and helpful. I will stay there again.”

• The hotel was literally 100 feet from the turnpike exit. It was very convenient.
• I have no complaints about the hotel.

“The hotel was a Days Inn, so I knew what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel staff was friendly, the continental breakfast was a nice surprise, and the location was exceptional.”

• It was easy to get to from the turnpike
• The blankets were so old I thought they would fall apart.

“In general, for a quick stop overnight it's ok.I really felt the linen needed updating, and the cable TV was nothing but blurs, made it look like they were pirating the cable. They had shampoo, but not creme rinse in the room, no coffee pot, no hair dryer, and the blankets were so used they looked like they should have been thrown out years ago.”
