• Manager was extra helpful. Housekeeper (Linda) was friendly, did a great job and very helpful.
• Most good restaurants closed early for me during the week.

• The pillows were nice.
• Nothing.

“This hotel met our expectations. We drove about 12 hours and needed a place to sleep and shower. It did the job. The rooms were pretty clean, nice pillows. The staff was very nice as well. The breakfast was nice for the kids in the morning. It is not located directly off the highway, but it is not in a congested area. If you are looking for somewhere to crash for the night and get a shower, go here. If you are looking for something with more luxury, do not go here.”

• Smell of cigar in non-smoking room, loud noises throughout night, and smell from bed sheets.

• Convenient access.
• We were placed in a room that reeked of smoke. The advertised "super start breakfast" was coffee and donuts.

“Probably a good hotel for a business traveler who just wants to get off the highway for a cheap price. The room was clean, but reeked of smoke, the decor was definitely dated. Access to a major highway is a plus. Breakfast was coffee and individually packaged donuts.”

• Had a hair dryer which my wife didn't expect.
• Coffee was from a machine using instant.

“All in all it was a little better than we expected for the price. Rat 286 is two lanes and very slow moving with the lights which makes it time consuming to get in and out from.”
