• Did not like the hotel because of the up keep I booked to another hotel.
• There was nothing I liked about this hotel.

“The Fairfield Inn in Florance was dirty cracked walls, the door was very unsafe. The staff was very rude. It had a awful odor in the room. So I booked in to another hotel. Because I was not staying at a hotel that did not look after the property. Nothing would make me stay at this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Friendly personnel.
• Rooms not sound proofed.

“Very good breakfast (hard boiled eggs, fresh waffles, but mediocre carbs). Friendly personnel but desk not manned all the time (had to call out for desk clerk). Had a small pool, but big enough to play in. Rooms were okay, but could hear through walls.”

• Absolutely nothing.
• Hotel was extremely dirty.

“Desk clerk was surly, hotel room had a musty, moldy odor, room had many earwigs and other bugs that I had to kill, and the air conditioner emitted an odor when turned on. The free high-speed internet didn't work, and being a LAN administrator, if I can't make it work, it don't work! Breakfast was sparse, and getting anything refilled took an unreal amount of time. Once food was put out, it was ok. If this is a two star hotel, then Motel 6 is a 4 star! I'll never stay here again, and it makes me question the entire Fairfield Inn chain.”

• Complimentary breakfast was very good.
• The security lock was missing screws.

“Nice hotel, very clean, good complimentary breakfast. Perfect for overnight stay. Close to shopping mall & restaurants.”

• Rooms on lower level by pool smelled musty.

“Well kept older/previously renovated Fairfield Inn. Baths are small, but overall this property is clean and neat. Rack rate $79.95 is steep for this location.”

• The room was damp and extremely small.

“I was traveling with my 7 year old son and 75 year old mother and we all had to sleep in the same bed. I went to the front desk after seeing that the room only had one bed and the lady at the front desk informed me that there were no rooms available with 2 beds. This was not a comfortable stay!”

• Ease of registering-I had only to sign my Name.
• A little noisy as people passed by outside.

“Room was nice; I liked the internet access. I really appreciated the ease of registering after driving for 10hours. Continental breakfast was good--even included hot food!”

• The staff, having cookies and coffee available at all times.
• Bed was not as comfortable as other Marriott properties.

“This is the perfect place to stop with or without children when traveling. The location was very close to I-95 and there were many options for dining close by. It definitely met our needs.”

• Smelly, not well kept.

“The room stunk of something that smelled like bug spray. The front door did not fit right in the frame and so there was a big gap that you could see out. I told the front desk manager and he said that may be the cleaners used too much cleaning spray and may be that was the smell. I doubt that - unless they clean with "Raid". About the front door, he didn't think it would be a problem. I was too tired to request a room change. I should have driven further and found a hotel with interior corridors. This one was more like a motel. ”
