“The hotel had a convenient location and the room was decent, however the front desk staff was rude and incompetent. We waiting for more than 10 minutes to be seated for breakfast, and no one came. When we told the front desk, they did not seem to care, nor did they apologize. The gentleman washing the windows was friendlier and more helpful than the front desk staff.”

“This hotel is very well-maintained and has been nicely updated despite being an older hotel. The only disappointment that we had was the relatively uncomfortable beds. Parking was readily accessible. Be prepared to wait for the elevators which are painfully slow. All-in-all, this hotel was a reasonable hotel.”

“The pool was atrocious, dirty and the area surrounding the pool was rusty and in need of repair. Some of the staff tried to be helpful, but the other staff was so unhelpful, they made up for it in rudeness and unprofessionalism. We ran out of toilet paper at 5:30 in the morning and when we called to tell them we needed another roll, (there was no extra roll left after housekeeping), we were asked if we could come down and get it. As if that wasn't enough, they then asked if we could wait until 7 o'clock and they would bring it up! And if that wasn't enough, they left a half used roll of toilet paper outside our door! When we asked for an ice bucket, they said they would try to find one and then the security guard brought one up with no lid and with a bag already opened and in the bucket. Unsanitary. When we asked for lids for the cups for coffee in the morning, we were told there were none. Unsanitary. I have to say, I was extremely disappointed with this hotel.”

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was very dirty everywhere, the parking lot the lobby and the rooms were disgusting. Our sheets and blankets were all dirty, the bathroom had not been cleaned, the chairs, lamp shades and carpets were all stained and the entire hotel smelled bad. The pool was green and the elevators weren't working properly.”

“I would never ever go to that hotel again. Poor lighting in parking lot allowed thief's to siphon gas out of our tank well we slept. When we first arrived staff gave us wrong room accommodations. We had to go back down to the lobby so that the room was switched. When we finally got settled into our room and laid down on the king bed the middle of the bed was sunken in and my husband and I had to sleep on the edge of the bed in order to get any kind of sleep. In the am I took a shower and the drain was plugged up causing the water to flood the bathroom. The shower was handicapped so it had no sides. When we got out to the car to leave we discovered that the gas was gone from the tank. She then proceeded to tell us that they are not responsible for our vehicles in the parking lot. We left very dissatisfied with the entire experience.”

“I had requested a 2 double bed room and was given a room with only 1 double bed with 4 adults and 1 two year old, this would not work. The staff was very friendly with the change and quickly gave me another room. Room service was quite slow but overall, it was a good stay.”

“Although we have stayed here often, there has been something of a decline. When we arrived the Internet was not working in the rooms, only in the lobby. The vending machines were not working either. We were put into a hall/room for smokers and I didn't like the smell.”

“This is without a doubt, the oldest, most rundown hotel I have personally stayed in in the last 10 years. I had to turn off the AC because it was so old and loud I didn't want to breathe the air it was circulating while sleeping.”

“This hotel was the worst place I have ever stayed! The rooms were clean, but when we went to get ice in the ice bucket there was mold in it. The manager did give us free breakfast, when we went to breakfast the food was awful!”

“We did not enjoy our stay at this hotel. We did not get any sleep due to the beds being hard, the parkway traffic was right beside the hotel, and there were people running up and down the halls yelling at 3 a.m. We did not stay the 2nd day, we left on Saturday because it was a terrible experience.”

“Check in was delayed, computers not working. Room was not what we requested (king size bed) had to wait almost an hour to get a king room. Bill was not correct but folks did try to help. Hostess for breakfast was less than cheerful. Hotel manager was always there with a cup of coffee in hand giving directions to staff but never seemed to pitch in to help. It was a very busy weekend and extra hands would have been helpful to the employees.”
