  • Wonderful service, great amenities like wine, cheese, champagne, cookies, snacks and coffee!
  • Nothing, it was perfect.

“This was my first stay at the French Quarter Inn. It is a beautiful hotel with a helpful staff and comfortable ambiance. They offer free champagne and lady fingers at arrival, wine and cheese in the evening, breakfast in the morning, and coffee and M&Ms all day long. We loved sitting in the courtyard eating breakfast in the morning and reading. Can't wait to go back! I will definitely stay here again.”

  • Everything was set up for customer comfort.

“Met all expectations and exceeded. Loved the small friendly atmosphere, super convenient location. The restaurant was the best meal we had in Charleston.”

  • The location was amazing. Right next to Market Street.
  • The continental breakfast was disappointing for a French hotel. All prepackaged items from Sysco Foods.

“Incredible value for the money. Free champagne at check-in was a nice touch.”

  • Complimentary breakfast in bed and wine tasting in late afternoon.
  • No complaints.

“This amazing hotel made us feel like we were in fact in New Orleans at Maison de Ville. Breakfast in bed, wine and cheese in the afternoon. As relaxed an atmosphere as one could find. The room was large, comfortable and well appointed. One block from the outdoor markets with fine shops and good restaurants located nearby.”

  • The location was great and the staff was very helpful.
  • They need to update bathrooms and TV (flat screen).

“We thought the location was outstanding for Charleston, the staff was very helpful in every way and friendly, the services was very good, only objection was upgrading the bathrooms for the most part.”

  • Lovely, home warm feeling, with a true taste of class, not the typical chain!
  • Stay to short!

“I would recommend this hotel to the best, of the best. Warm, relaxing friendly, down to earth welcoming with a high taste of class and beauty! Much nicer than the typically chain hotels. Our visit was too short and that is the only negative thing we can think of.”

  • The hotel was great from the staff to the location.
  • I liked it all.

“The hotel has a very romantic feel to it. It is beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room we stay in was great from the 14 foot ceilings to the large bath area. The bed was very comfortable and you could select from different type of pillows. I would definitely stay at the French Quarter Inn again.”

  • I really enjoyed the great service, the champagne upon arrival, and the amazing location.

“I loved this hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay there. The champagne upon arrival along with great customer service was great. I loved that they had hot coffee and tea on every floor. The location couldn't be any better, and I absolutely loved the rooms. The beds weren't your typical ugly print. They were modern looking yet cozy. The only thing I wasn't blown away with was breakfast. I probably got too much of a high expectation from everything else that was great.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Free coffee, tea, lemonade, and champagne are served throughout the day.
  • Although, the room decor and furniture was of a high quality, I didn't like the colonial theme.

“This hotel is one of the best hotels Ive stayed in anywhere in the country. The location was perfect, the staff extremely friendly, the restaurant was excellent, they had free coffee, tea, champagne, and lemonade all day. The free breakfast was an average continental breakfast but had several healthy items. They had a free wine and cheese reception at 5:00. The list of good things goes on and on but the bottom line is that it was a great experience.”
