“My husband and I enjoyed our stay-couldn't beat the location! Note to other travelers considering this hotel-parking isn't free! The hotel will charge you $19 a day for valet parking, or there's a public lot across the street for $12 a day. The valet parking is worth every penny, though parking is at a premium in Downtown Charleston and we were happy to pay in order not to have to worry about it.”

“I liked the 2 level room. It felt like a small townhouse. I will definitely stay again.”

“Clean, but dated interiors, place needs a facelift. Very inconvenient parking, in fact, there isn't any, you have to use the valet. This was an annoyance. Layout of hotel room strange, "suite" style that makes the room feel small, dark, and cramped. Bed was awesome. Best thing about it is the location, but your better off going to one of the smaller, more quaint hotels nearby.”

“If the front desk issue (no cab on requested time) there would be no issues. Other than that it is a great place for the money and location.”

“Super nice hotel. 800 thread count bedding. Separate living room from bedroom. Great area. Historic district has tons of stuff to do right next door. Try to stay a few days b/c there is a lot to see. Great hotel. 5/5. Nice workout room too that has a whole set of dumbbells.”

“The hotel was perfectly located by the market, surrounded by wonderful restaurants and carriage tours. The room was spacious, clean, delightful decorations and two amazingly soft and comfortable beds. The staff was all very friendly, even the construction guys working on renovations.”

“Charming hotel in the fantastic historic district of Charleston. Very nice rooms with a lot of amenities. Everything was great except the breakfast, but you can get some good one at the market and in the street cafes opposite the hotel.”

“Good overall experience. But hotel has no parking, only options are rip off valet parking or expensive nearby public lot. I won't be staying there again because of this, it was highly annoying.”
