“Excellent hotel. We arrived on a very rainy day at the same time as many others and it was difficult to unload our car. The staff was extremely helpful and made the process a non-event. The room was spacious and well appointed. Would stay there again.”

“Unable to write review of this hotel because
I paid for two rooms but Priceline only sent hotel confirmation for one room and this hotel was fully booked so Priceline downgraded our stay to another hotel out of the area, the staff was very helpful in trying to resolve the situation which i cannot say the same of Priceline who were extremely incompetent.”

“The employees at the front desk were very personable and the rooms were lovely and exceeded my expectations. The food that was ordered through room service was not as fresh as I would have expected.”

“Definitely not what I expected, did not compare favorably to other hotels that I have stayed at within the area.
Parking was $20 a night plus 2 blocks away, staff was apathetic at best. Small rooms with tiny bathrooms. Would not go back!”

“We loved the hotel and would stay again. It was in walking distance to the sites we wanted to visit. The complimentary continental breakfast was a surprise and very good. The room, although a bit small, were nicely appointed and the bed and pillows very comfy. I would suggest that the hotel place a time limit on the use of the computer in the business center -- say 15 minutes. I was trying to print out boarding passes for the airlines in the morning and a very rude woman who was printing out photos and reading advertisements on line spent 46 minutes even though politely asked to let us simply print our passes. She declined and continued to surf the web while my blood pressure boiled.”

“Beautiful lobby, piano bar and loggia. Very nice rooms. Room was very comfortable. Bathroom could use a refurbish. Food from restaurant was good but not fabulous and was cold when served. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Perfect location, walked everywhere.”

“The hotel has historical character as well as modern comfort. It is situated in the historic district of Charleston, which makes it a convenient walk to shopping, restaurants, and the harbor. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a truly memorable visit to one of America's finest cities.”
