“The hotel was a bit musty and the internet was not working once the new router got installed it was fine. I liked the bed and the bedding it was comfortable needs some sprucing up.”

“They have an excellent location and know it. I would not pay this price or stay in this hotel if located near an Interstate at the price I paid. The cost was too high for the quality of the room.”

“Good+ economy hotel located close to the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Art and Natural History museum, casual restaurants, and convenience stores. Helpfulness and positive attitude of staff varied. Hotel restaurant (Panero) just right.”

“The staff was accommodating but quiet is rather impossible because the external exhaust fans are beneath the windows of the hotel.

“Great location. But the room itself felt cheap. But if you're visiting Pittsburgh and want to be in a good place to see all the sites, this is a good choice.”

“Although the hotel looked older and a bit worn, the room was clean, service was good, parking was free, and WiFi was free. Overall, a great value.

“This is a place of convenience not amenities. As a business traveler who spends only sleeping time there, it's generally been palatable, this last time the room was so rank with cigarette smoke (you can still smoke in a hotel?) that it was off putting. I didn't notice until I got back that night and was too tired to move.”

“Room was what was expected but the computer service was non existent. We had to move rooms and finally picked up the wireless connection from Panera rest. Which I used to do my work.”

“The Hotel was very easy to find. It would be perfect for anyone going to an event at the Petersen Event center. It is very close. The rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. I will be staying here again.”

“We were on a mini honeymoon, for guests that just want to sit back and chill there was not much on TV and nothing to entertain in the hotel (can't order movies). We were 10 min. late checking out and one staff gave us quite an attitude. The other gentleman was very pleasant. And it would not hurt to modernize the hotel a little,(new TVs, a small fridge, a microwave).”

“Not recommended if you need a cab. Location is somewhat near the Universities, but own transportation will be required. Good for smokers and those on a budget.”

“Hotel was easy to get to. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The nightly rate was a little bit high compared to similar hotels, but the overall experience was satisfactory. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be close to downtown and the university area.”

“Pretty standard hotel for the price. Ten minute walk to Pitt and Carnegie Melon, but if you're looking for something closer, there's a Holiday Inn. Select right next to the Cathedral of Learning (for about twice the price). The staff was very friendly, but the biggest plus was the Panera next to the lobby.”
