  • Nothing.
  • Unsafe.

“This hotel is a disaster! I pulled into the parking lot and felt so unsafe about stepping out of my car, I left and stayed at a different hotel.”

  • There was nothing. It was dirty and run down and not worth the rating it has.
  • Everything. Name it and it should be 1 star or below.

“Absolutely the worse stay in a hotel that I ever had. It should never be considered no more than 1 star and at that would be a high rating. It seems like we got the smallest and dirtiest room they had. The rooms run down and poorly maintained. Felt like we were in danger the whole stay.”

  • Reasonably quiet. Good location. Adequate facility and bed. Good value for price.
  • Thin walls and Day's Inn slamming doors. If people were next door my experience might not have been so pleasurable.

“Good location. Room could be cleaned a bit better. Dust under bed stilled up when covers dropped. Suggest carpet cleaning. Room a bit above average for a Day's Inn.”

  • The friendliness of the hotel clerk that checked us in. He went out of his way to give us directions.
  • In general the room we stayed in needs some fresh paint and scouring of floor.

“In general I was pleased with the hotel. The way we were greeted was wonderful. It is an older hotel that just needs some fresh paint and scouring especially in the bathroom area.”

  • Nothing.
  • Dirty, moldy, worn, dated, scary.

“This hotel should be demolished! It was so disgusting, I left after 5 minutes, forfeited my room charge and went to stay at a Comfort Inn. I gave this a 1 star, but in reality it was -10.”

  • Nothing.
  • Awful customer service.

“I booked hotel for kids trip to DC. My son 23-y-o. and daughter is 25-y-o. When they arrived to hotel it was allowed only king bed room despite fact that hotel was empty. My kids cannot sleep in the same bed. It took 2hrs and $11 fee to get two double bed rooms. My family very was dissatisfied with hotel.”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[8] • Location:[6]

  • Good location. But, not the best neighborhood.
  • Old, small rooms, noisy highway, didn't feel safe.

“It's an older, inexpensive hotel, located in a run down retail/industrial area. Convenient to everything. But, it just didn't feel as safe as Id like to be.”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[5] • Location:[7]

  • The location was good.
  • They charged me for a "queen" room that actually had double beds.

“I called the hotel to ensure I had a non smoking room with two beds they told me no, I had a smoking room with one bed. They offered to change my reservation. Fine. When I got there, I was charged $10 for a "queen" room. Then, when we got in the room, we realized we only had double beds. The room wasn't horrible, just a very basic, older motel room with paper thin walls. There are serious flaws in their rating system. There is no way this hotel would be a two star, in my opinion. The next night I stayed at a best western in Boone, NC that was significantly nicer than this days Inn.”

  • We upgraded and had to pay more and then got a better room for our second night.
  • We could not give a choice of non smoking and king sized bed.

“The location is good, but there is a vast difference between the cheapest rooms and what would be considered two or two and a half stars. Our second night room was very nice and much cleaner than our first night. It was also bigger and had a king sized bed and refrigerator and microwave.”

  • Nothing - this was disgusting, dirty, terrible motel.
  • Everything.

“This was an absolutely disgusting hotel. There was poop in the hotel room toilet and the rest of the room was not clean.”
