• Clean room, quick elevators, old world charm with modern features.
• Smaller than normal TV for the size of room.

• Exceedingly large room.
• Parking situation is bad, expensive and inconvenient.

“It is a beautiful and obviously historic building. It is centrally located in downtown, but that can make getting in and out and parking a bit of a pain. The room was very nice and the beds very comfortable, but they cut a few corners in the luxury department, like poor bathrobes, cheap toilet paper, that undermines luxury status.”

• Lost our luggage but found it and sent a plate of fruit.

• The room was very spacious and the beds/pillows extremely comfortable.
• Three of us ate dinner in the tap room were a little high for salad, fish and chips and a burger/fries.

“Great location if you like to be in downtown Pittsburgh. The concierge was very helpful and friendly providing directions for us to local attractions. All the staff we met in the hallways were friendly.”

• The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
• The hotel restaurants/coffee bar closes early relative to other hotels in larger cities.

“We were very pleased with this visit to the Omni, the hotel lobby's old world charm is carried throughout the facility, but the amenities were updated and the room was very comfortable. The central location was particularly attractive to us as first time visitors to Pittsburgh.”

• Very nice staff, room was clean with a comfortable bed.
• We were given a room under the Grand Ball Room with a party going on.

“The initial room assigned was under the hotels, Grand Ball Room. Loud music started up at about 10 pm. The music could be heard throughout the entire area. We asked to change rooms, the second room seemed much quieter. However, during the night and due to the location of the room, a ventilation fan came outside and below our window and stayed on the entire night.”

• Spotless rooms, beautiful lobby, very helpful staff.
• No pool.

“This hotel was wonderful! Our room was immaculate as well as the rest of the hotel. Staff was very helpful from the moment we arrived. Good location, easy to find from the interstate. Will definitely stay here again and I would recommend this hotel to anyone!”

• The hotel lobby was decorated in a very luxurious style that was very appealing to all.
• Our room was small. We ordered room service for 2 but had only one table with 1 chair.

“We enjoyed staying at the omni hotel. It was tastefully decorated. The staff was friendly and efficient. We were disappointed with the room. It was smaller than we expected. We ordered room service and there was only 1 table and 1 chair and nowhere for the other person to sit to eat other than on the bed which we did not care for.”

• The hotel staff is amazingly helpful, polite and professional.
• Rooms are a bit dingy and not as clean as they should be. Restaurant service staff is cranky.

• Some rooms have poor view.

• Spacious rooms; comfy beds; friendly, accommodating staff; central location.
• Some floors are half-smoking / half non-smoking; we initially got a NS room that adjoined a smoking room - Unpleasant but hotel moved us to new floor.

“Enjoyed our stay. Came with wife and two kids and used this hotel as a central place to stay while we explored Pittsburgh in advance of a possible move to the area. Central to everything. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very spacious. First room we had was fine on first day but a smoking guest moved into the room next door (with adjoining door). Very quickly the room stank of smoke and we complained to front desk staff. They apologized, explained that some floors are half smoking and half non-smoking and moved our stuff to a new room on a completely non-smoking floor while we were exploring the city. The new room was almost as large but had a Flat Panel TV and more modern furnishings than the 1st room. Hotel is older but unlike the Palmer House Hilton I have stayed in while in Chicago, this Hotel is also old but doesn't feel old. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Note that the hotel does not have a pool on site and in order to get free wireless, you must be an Omni select member (free to sign up). Kids loved staying in someplace 'fancy', unlike the typical cookie cutter Hampton Inn type hotels we usually stay at. Given the option, I would stay at any Omni over any Hilton anytime.”

“We had a wonderful experience at the hotel and would return however the Downtown Pittsburgh location was not what we expected. It was a ghost town by 6pm and we were scared to venture outside after dark to explore the city.”

• Updated grand old luxury hotel with very attentive staff.
• The crowd from a Starbucks, right off the lobby, takes over everything.

“WP Omni is an updated pre-war grand hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. It is an excellent value and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I did not like the jarring and loud music played (live and recorded) in the lobby, also, Starbucks customers take over the lobby and leave their paper cups behind.”

• I was extremely impressed with the courteous and helpful staff, and the great central location of the hotel.
• If I could change anything about my stay at this hotel it would be the size of the bar, too small, great times though.

“I would most definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone traveling to Pittsburgh! The hotel alone has just about everything one would need or want, It was a great stay.”
