• The beds were comfy.
• The rooms were not very up to date.

“This hotel is an excellent place to stay. It's not as nice as say the Hampton Inn because the rooms are outdated. There is a pool next door at the Best Western that is also owned by the Sleep Inn that's pretty nice. I will say the minute I hit the bed I fell right asleep, the pillows and mattress were great. The bedding was very thin and not what I'm used to.”

• I liked the continental breakfast.
• I did not like the evening staff.

“I would most definitely stay in this hotel again. The evening staff was the only thing that I did not enjoy. I did like the housekeeping staff they were very friendly and willing to help out in any way they could.”

• The friendliness and helpful attitude of the front desk person at check-in.
• The continental breakfast was not ready at the mentioned time.

“Overall, I was very pleased with the experience for the most part. The price was quite reasonable for the accommodations, which were clean and comfortable. The location was in short driving distance of several restaurants and shopping areas, and the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful on check-in. And although the continental breakfast was not ready at 6:00am as mentioned, and we had to leave before everything was ready, we did eat before we left (about 15 minutes later than we planned). Despite the slight lapse in service at breakfast, I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to others.”

• There was no bath tub in the room only a shower.

“Was a good location and for what little time we spent at the hotel it was good. Continental breakfast was good and the staff was very good and helpful.”

• Difficult to enter/exit, inadequate parking.

“Noisy. Ac difficult to regulate; better if there was a numerical thermostat instead of hi/lo, etc. Inadequate parking; parking area did not appear to be very secure. Difficult entry/exit into roadway due to high traffic in both directions. Not bad if you absolutely/positively need accommodations; not a 'real' destination.”

• Clean and neat every where.

“The hotel was good as far as location. We were Downtown on Saturday and Sunday we were going to the Mongolia Gardens so it was close in to find a place to eat and have a drink and yet it was close to get on the highway to go to the gardens. Will stay again.”

• Fantastic location and very friendly staff.
• Overbooked and could not move my family from an unsatisfactory room.

“When my wife and I arrived at this hotel the staff was congregated outside the front door for a smoke break. I had to interrupt them in order to get someone to help me check in. However when I arrived I was informed that I had reserved a smoking room. When I asked about the possibility of switching I was told that ours was the last available room in the hotel and that we could not change our reservation.”

• I saw pets going into the hotel.

“I enjoyed my stay at the sleep inn. It is clean and comfortable. The location is great if you want to go to the plantations or the angel oak tree. I would stay there again.”

• The comfort of the spacious bathroom and double beds.
• The sliding door to the bathroom was difficult to slide open and the shower head sprayed very hard.

“Excellent location, parking, staff, cleanliness, breakfast, and the availability of rooms each time I call. My family and I will return to this location.”

• Wireless internet was available though it was only about 90% reliable.
• The Breakfast provided lacked variety when compared to the price paid for the room.

“The Hotel was fairly well kept and the staff was helpful in a nonchalant way. My key stopped working to my room and they replaced it, no questions asked, which concerned me since I could have stated any room number, not just my own. The breakfast provided by the hotel did not have the variety that it should. I've stayed in an Holiday Inn in the Charleston area for 40% less of the price but which had a much bigger variety of foods for breakfast. Who eats Bran Flakes or cheerio's? How about make that Raisin bran flakes, frosted flakes, fruit loops and honey nut cheerios? Food is the way to a customer¿s heart in the end.”

• Staff was super helpful.
• The parking lot was too small, and shared with neighbor hotel.

“The staffs of sleep inn Charleston were super helpful. We didn¿t know anything about Charleston, and they were great at helping us find our way around. If I go back to Charleston, I would probably use them again. My only complaint was that their parking lot filled up really quick at night. So if you went out any where you'd come back to a nearly full lot, and have to park way in the back where it was poorly lit. Plus it was shared with the hotel next door, so I¿m sure that didn¿t help parking at all. But all in all good experience. I'd give thumbs up.”
