  • The lobby was nice.
  • It will take more than 20 words.

“We stayed at this same hotel approx. 2 weeks prior to this stay. It was a wonderful experience for our European guests as well as us. When we realized we were going back to Charleston Sc. We wanted to stay in the same hotel. That is where we made our first mistake! From the moment we entered the hotel at 2:00 pm until 11:00 pm the first night and after a room change it only went downhill from there. The stay ended with the shower head had no water pressure, not just the water saver, but encrusted with debris to the sink faucet falling into my hand when I tried to brush my teeth looking down at the top of the faucet not covered by the round cover staring at even more mold! I tried to turn off the faucet and it fell into my hand. My husband and I spent the day traveling (trying to be accommodating to our guests) with soap and slime from our attempt to shower touring Charleston. There were so many problems in between, I do not want to spend the time it took to live through them all! This was a stay that I will never want to repeat!! The hotel staff was made aware of every issue. Although, they did comp us a dinner on the first night by the time we received our meal. It was over an hour after we placed the order and it was approx. 11:00 pm, a bit too late to finally have dinner and too exhausted and frustrated to attempt to eat. I am hoping the hotel will be made aware of both of my surveys and do some type of audit on each of their rooms. The employees were so casual about letting us know they were aware of these issues in the rooms but were frustrated they were having to 'go through the process' in repairing each of the problems. Unfortunately, their guests are the only audit they have for these such repairs. My issue is, I pay for a clean room, working shower, clean sink.”

  • Very friendly staff.
  • Pool was freezing, no hot tub.

“The hotel is very nice with a wonderful staff. The bathrooms are a bit small. It is located beside a couple of warehouses, so there is nothing in walking distance. Across the highway are the Tanger Outlets. The hotel is about a 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston.”

  • They were very customer friendly and efficient in check in and check out. Eager to make the experience great.
  • Restaurant service a little slow but were eager to make amends.

“It is in an easy to find location. It is convenient to Charleston down town as well as Patriot's Point and Magnolia Gardens. It was quiet and friendly and safe and clean. The beds were comfortable.”

  • Wonderful hotel entrance lobby good service kind wait staff.
  • Over charge twice in bar and good was really awful.

“I would stay there again ... but would choose something else to eat in the bar restaurant because the Italian food was not well cooked. all in all everything else was just fabulous.”

  • No wastebasket in room; few TV channels; no breakfast.

“I wish we stayed somewhere else. Good things: location very convenient to downtown using I-26, nice-looking room, friendly staff, fancy decor in lobby; indoor pool looked good. Great Starbucks coffee in room. Bad things: Old hotel. Our door stuck from humidity, and this was April. No wastebasket in room; few TV channels; didn't see a breakfast room, bathroom layout too small. We won't be back.”

  • Location is not the best.

“The Sheraton has been in North Charleston for many years and maintains its high quality. The staff was great, the restaurant was great, and the hotel is lovely. However, the area has declined over the years and somewhat detracts from the overall experience. This in no way is the fault of Sheraton. Too bad for North Charleston.”

  • It was convenient to Downtown Charleston only about 15 minutes away.
  • They did not clean or make our bed after the first night. The tableside lights and clock didnt work.

“The hotel was clean but when the repair man came to fix the table lights and alarm clock he pulled out the bed and jiggled the wires. They worked then but as soon as we moved the bed back they didnt work anymore. Plus he didnt move the bed back and our room was never cleaned after the initial night.”

  • Wonderful bed.
  • Bathroom rather small.

“The hotel had a great bed and included microwave and refrigerator in the room. The hotel halls were very well lit. The lobby was quite clean. The buffet breakfast was very good.”

  • The location, pool and other amenities. The courtyard view and outdoor pool is lovely and comfortable.
  • Two out of the three rooms were smoking and I prefer non-smoking.

“We visited your hotel during a spontaneous get away. My cousin and her husband from England arrived and last minute heard about Charleston so, we decided on the last minute trip. Your Hotel provided a very comfortable lounge to end a very busy day to share our lives with each other. We had not seen each other since we were 6&7 years old. Your Hotel allowed us to reconnect in comfort. We were then surprised with a wonderfully comfortable, clean and homelike atmosphere in our rooms that allowed us a well rested beginning to our final day together in Charleston. You can not choose your family but you can choose your hotel. In our case, we have been blessed with both.”

“Bathroom was covered in cig. Stains. Stains on ceiling, no drain plugs in tub or sink. Lamp shade was covered in smoke film.”

  • Room didn't feel clean. Obvious it's an old hotel or maybe the room wasn't renovated yet.

“I had requested a room with two beds. They brought a day bed up and it crowded the room. Had to ask for a refrigerator. They brought one up. The basin in the bathroom barely drained. Not worth the money asked. I've stayed in less expensive hotels and received more. The wash basin the bathroom barely drained.”

  • The staff were helpful and accommodating.
  • The top sheet was ripped, and bathroom door broken.

“The sheets on the bed were worn, the chair was worn and stained, the sliding bathroom door was off the track and obviously had been for a while. There was no TV remote, I called and promptly received a courteous attendant that had me try several remotes until we found one that worked. The room service breakfast plate was excellent, though pricey.”

  • Eating establishments were hard to locate did not use restaurant at hotel.

“We would stay there again as close to airport. Coming back we stayed at a lower scale motel as we were leaving very early in a.m. saved $, but it was not anywhere as nice or as comfortable.”
