• Old and not well maintained.

“Room A/C was off and room was extremely hot and humid upon my arrival, and it took hours to cool the room off. Entry door had a huge 1" gap at the bottom allowing air and light to pass through. Beds were comfortable. Shower and other toilet fixtures worked fine.”

• The room smelled like smoke even though it was supposed to be smoke free.

“The customer service was poor when we checked in. The lady at check out was much friendlier. The bathroom floor was still dirty, we saw foot prints in the tub still. We didn't take showers. The room smelled like smoke and was supposed to be a non-smoking room.”

• The location.
• It was dirty, the maid service and front service was awful. There were other hotels the same
  stars that were clean because we checked it out.

“One of the beds had dirty sheets. When they changed them, the next set was just as bad because they were stained. Did not sleep in that bed. The staff was rude. The curtains had mold on the back from the condensation on the windows and the continental breakfast was sad. Don't stay there.”

• The pool was clean and the variety of food choices.

• The pool area was very clean and the staff was nice and accommodating.

“The staff was nice and the facilities were pretty clean. It's also near to the outlet mall and many different places to eat and also the airport.”

• Didn't like anything.
• The air conditioner broke at 3 AM & also they were out of towels.

“I do not recommend this hotel. Airplanes flew over constantly. The air conditioner broke at 3 AM & we called the front desk, we were told that maintenance would not be in until later the next morning. We also did not have enough towels & were told that someone locked the closet & they didn't have extra keys. The stay was horrible!”

• I liked the location of the hotel.
• The beds were very uncomfortable.

“Under normal circumstances I would not recommend this hotel. I needed a room last minute on a holiday weekend, so my choices were limited. However, the room was clean & the staff friendly. Basically, if you don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room then it would probably be okay.”

• Cheaper than most hotels near Charleston.
• Not a great location, even though it's close to Charleston.

“I would not travel to this hotel alone, its okay if your with some one. The room left lot to be desired as far as housekeeping. The staff was polite and helpful.”

• Location wasn't too bad.
• Check in person was unhelpful and rude.

“This hotel should be off your list. I asked for a downstairs, non-smoking room, and was given an upstairs smoking room in the very back of the hotel where they were doing construction. I saw one of the workers remove a toilet and dump the water in the parking lot. The breezeway smelled like urine. I did not feel safe back there.”

• Hotel was clean. Breakfast was descent.
• Hotel needs updating.

“My room was clean; however, in desperate need of a makeover. Breakfast was descent. For one night stay, it is OK for the money. If I were staying more than one night, I would definitely find another hotel.”

• The hotel is closed to the interstate system... but we did not stay at the hotel.
• The condition of the hotel rooms cause us to cancel our reservation on the spot.

“We were quite disappointed in the Days Inn hotel considering we were home for the funeral of our family member. We could not stay at that hotel because of the condition and the staff's attitude. The overall appearance did not give the appearance of a safe area. We were not comfortable seeing some of the guest and their style of dress.”

• We went on our motorcycle and the owner offered to park in front and watch it overnight.
• The other staff could have been a little friendlier.

“The Hotel was very conveniently located right off the interstate. The appearance was very clean and neat. We met the owner and he seemed very grateful for our business. Our reservations were right on and our room was clean and ready when we arrived. This was a great value for the price! We were concerned about our new motorcycle being outside and the owner graciously offered us to park the bike out in front and offered to have it watched by the staff and himself overnight . That was awesome! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will stay there again in the future. Aura Walker.”

• They were friendly.
• The towels were dirty, so we started questioning the cleanliness of the room in general.

“OK for 1 night. Don't expect too much comfort. The air conditioner was noisy. The towels were dirty; however, the staff was friendly and the breakfast not too bad. You could hear an occasional plane flying overhead.”

• Very hard bed and not really clean or updated

“The rooms need some updating and this is what made it look not clean it is in need of service or repair. The beds did not make for good sleeping, they were hard. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good.”

• I liked the price of the hotel. But as always you get what you pay for!
• This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I felt like it was drug-infested and did not feel safe!

“I think a representative from Days Inn Corp. needs to come and do a surprise visit. I liked being close to downtown without paying the downtown price, but my clothes literally smelled awful when I would go somewhere. It was so nasty I wouldn't let my children walk on the floor without shoes. I've never stayed in a place so crummy! I had a horrible vacation.”

“Room was supposed to be non smoking and smelled like an ash tray, one member of the staff was rude, there was an unidentified sticky substance on the carpet and crumbs on the floor.”
