“Hotel name has changed. However, overall condition and services is less than satisfactory. I was supposed to stay at the hotel for my family reunion weekend. Some of the family members arrived at the hotel early but they decided that the hotel was not suitable for them to stay and left shortly after they checked in. When I arrived at the hotel the following day I was informed that all of the reservations for numerous family had been cancelled. I asked the manager who had cancelled the reservations since I was the primary contact for the function. I was never provided an answer. Despite the concerns of the other family members, I thought I would patronize the facility. I called the hotel on Friday and asked if I would still be able to stay there at the $69 rate that was stated in my contract. The clerk indicated yes. When my family and I arrived at the hotel after 6:00pm we asked if there was a reservation for us and the clerk stated, No. A few days later when I was looking at my credit card activities I noticed that the hotel had charge my credit card. I contacted the hotel and asked how they could charge my credit card when they were the ones that allowed all of the rooms to be cancelled (besides, how would you be able to cancel a reservation that does not exist). He said that the charges were assessed because the room was not cancelled. I told him that if I had reservations why wasn't my room available when my family and I went to the hotel nearly 7:00pm and did not have reservations. He said that they would not hold the room past 6:00pm. I informed the hotel manager that I stay at hotels quite a bit and a room guarantee means that the room would be held for you beyond the normal hold period. Despite the fact that management at the hotel cancelled my reservations, the hotel has proceeded to fraudulently charge over $600 to my credit card. I have not received a reasonable explanation why those charges were made. Stay at the hotel at your own risk but you could be trying to chase down your credit card information like I have to do. This experience was definitely not worth the headache. However, condition and services at the facility is less than satisfactory.”

“The hotel was in need of some upgrades compared to the picture showed on the internet for it. The room I was in was not updated, but my friend's room looked like the room pictured on the internet. I was bit by something during the night that was in the bed sheets and I had bite marks on my arm that looked like some kind of mite or mosquito had bitten me.”

“I submitted a complaint the night that I was supposed to check into my hotel. I am a single woman traveling alone, this hotel was courtyard style and there were men loitering in the back of this hotels location , I did not feel safe in that area. In addition, the room was filthy - the nightstand had food crumbs and a sticky substance on the base of the lamp. The carpet was over worn and the curtains were absolutely filthy! They also did not close properly . The arm chair in the room was also dirty. The woman at the front desk gave me another key to try another room- but the next room was in the same location (next to the previous one) and just as un-clean. Needless to say - I left immediately and checked in at a nearby Hilton Garden Inn.”

“Older motel, outside entrances, no amenities (ice, sodas). Not a 2 star as advertised. Location is good.”

“The hotel was not as clean and well kept as I expected. We also had trouble with basic requests such as getting clean sets of towels each day, and an extra bar of soap. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone else.”
