“This hotel is under new management, and under renovation. They scrambled to get a new room for me, which turned out to be outside of the ice machine. The cable TV was extremely poor quality (loose wires). Directions to find the room were poor. Lots of road construction in the area, but no assistance from hotel staff in navigating local road closures. Would not recommend this hotel to travelers unless there's no other options.”

“Things were missing from room - lampshade, desk chair, broken remote control. Took 2 calls to get them to bring them to the room. Cleaning staff only made the beds the next day. Did not refresh or clean the bathroom, coffee supplies, or cups. Called in the late afternoon, then again at 11 pm when we returned and nothing had changed. The desk clerk said he had put the call in himself, was sorry and would take care of it himself. Nothing ever happened. The next morning, I saw the maid in the hall and asked for supplies. She gave me what she had and said she had no shampoo. How does that happen?”

“Can't believe this is a Holiday Inn. I'm a Platinum member and this was the worst ever. I was told that it changed ownership about a year ago and it shows. Rooms and bathrooms are dirty, it looked like the bed was not changed from the last guest. A dirty towel hung in the bath. TV did not work and I was told that the desk had no one to fix it as the management had cut down on staffing!”

“I have stayed at the Radisson in Green Tree which is a 3 star hotel and rightly rated that way. I was beyond disappointed when I first walked into the Holiday Inn. It was under construction in its defense, however we received a recently remodeled room and the room was poorly remodeled and the bathroom was disgusting. Mold in the shower cracks, the hardware was old decaying metal and the towels smelled like cigarettes. The hotel walls are paper thin as well so we were calling security to reign in the children out in the hall running around unsupervised. In an attempt to be positive, I will say their staff was above and beyond friendly and very helpful. I was very pleased with the efficiency of their service. This hotel is a 2 star hotel. It may be a 2.5 star when if finishes its renovation, however the only way it should ever be given a 3 star rating is if they demo it and just start over!”

“They asked to pardon the dust due to remodeling but it was not all that kind of dirt. Not sure they use vacuum cleaners ever! The staff was flustered with the check in process, did not ask how many keys we needed and gave us one. I asked if we had a room with 2 beds & he said 'I think so'. We didn't, had to get another one.”

“The room was dingy, bedding was threadbare and although the outside had been remodeled, this place overall was just a dump. I would never stay there again.”

“This hotel was very poor. The carpets in the hallways were torn up, fire alarms were dangling from the hall ceiling. My room smelled like paint. One should expect to have internet access at a 3 star hotel but they couldn't get it to work. The best thing is that they did move me to a room where I could get internet but it sounds like a lot of people could not get it. The bathrooms are old and the toilet kept running in my bathroom. I was very disappointed. This hotel is not 3 stars at all.”

“It was under renovation and they rented us a room with no clothing rack to hang our clothes, no hair dryer but they did bring a hair dryer. No bar/lounge open. No towels at the pool. At second attempt for towels, we did finally get towels and the manager did give us a coupon for free breakfast, which was a very nice touch. But the hotel itself is not, in my opinion, a 3 1/2 star rating. The room did have clean beds and a clean bathroom but the halls were covered with debris from the remodeling. They should not have rented rooms on the floors they were working on, in my opinion. Overall it is a great location, free parking, easy on and off interstate. Food at breakfast was good and so was the service. I just thought it was a little dingy for a 3 1/2 star hotel.”

“They were under construction but the room smelled Smokey and the toilet over-flowed first thing so we had to change rooms. We had to drive through scary parts of town to get Downtown to see all of the sights. The bottom of the shower looked dirty. They only offered a shampoo and conditioner all in one. It didn't seem to be 3 star qualities.”

“My husband and I went to Pittsburgh with our best friends. When our friends went to check in, the staff gave them a key and sent them to a room that was already occupied. When they went back to the desk to inform them they said it was a computer mix-up. My friends were concerned because if it happened again anyone could just walk in their room because the key card worked. The staff then sent them to another room, but the floor was being renovated and there was debris and furniture all through the hallways. When they finally got to their room they had to call down to the desk because the toilet seat was soiled. We arrived about a half hour later. When we checked into our room there was nowhere to hang our clothes. The closet rack was lying on the floor along with the iron and ironing board. We were very disappointed and surprised with this hotel. It definitely put a damper on our trip.”

“Looks like this hotel used to be much better, and may be better again sometime in the future. They were in the process of remodeling the rooms when we got there, and I think we got switched from a remodeled room to an old room when we switched to two twin beds from one king. - first weekend of June and the pool wasn't even filled- bed was hard- decor was outdated- cable was out the first night we were there- fitness center was lacking for a 3-star (two treadmills and a stair climber).”

“The hotel had no hot water for 4 of the 5 nights of my stay. The room was on the dumpy side and needed to be renovated. The bathrooms were never very clean and the carpet needed a good vacuuming. It took forty minuets to go 3 miles to get to downtown during rush hour traffic. If your not traveling during rush hour it is very convenient to downtown. I wouldn't recommend the hotel.”
