• Bring bug spray for gnats!

“I'm not sure what got into the last reviewers head, but we experienced a fantastic stay! Our tub was clean, though I admit the black grout wasn't a great idea. The blinds opened great to a wall of giant windows! The TV is small, but what person comes to a place like this to watch TV all day! Middleton place was in bloom and fantastic! The cook, frank, came out to greet us every morning to ask how we liked his breakfast. The staff was very accommodating, and when we had a small issue, the innkeeper, abbey martin, was right their before we even asked for her. I think the person below me was having a bad day! Great place will be back with my parents for their 40th anniversary!”

• Everything else.

“Bathroom tiles - white? No more like black with fungus. Meat from restaurant - red, asked for well done. Innkeeper - no response with complaints. Shutters - pretty, don't try to open, they don't and don't force them, and the duct tape might break! TV? What TV? Package amenities? What package amenities? We didn't get any. Yuck. Go somewhere else!”

“Would go back in a heartbeat, rooms have a lived in feeling promoting relaxation, even with my 5 yr old! Great staff, best shrimp and grits I ever had for breakfast, have to meet Zoe, the cat............”
