  • Pools were awesome.
  • Price.

“It was our anniversary so we upgraded to a room with a view. They charge for everything. Overall it is a very nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay.”

  • The king size beds are super comfortable!
  • Expensive parking.

“My husband and I did a one night stay at this hotel and had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is nicely decorated with clean lines. We had a tower room on the 15th floor which had a great view of the bay and ocean. The room was spacious and clean with a king size bed and a balcony. We ate at their Pelican Landing and had a nice meal (a little pricey) but tasty. I had the grilled skirt steak with asparagus and fries and my husband had the fish burrito with a mango sauce (very good).”

  • Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful pool area.
  • It is not located close to any stores or restaurants other then their own.

“This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The pool area was beautiful and it was open 24 hours a day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.”

  • Swimming pool, restaurant, staff, view were all great!
  • Prices of food, parking fees.

“Stayed in the tower great views! Room was very clean and comfortable bed. Restaurant food was good but pricey. Parking, self was 19.00 and valet was 23.00. Pool was nice and refreshing, fun water falls. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Down side, not good for walking to shop's and restaurants and beach, can be done but not in august.”

  • The new renovated room was more likely interesting with big shower!
  • No access to the top roof of restaurant and/or bar.

“This hotel with 2 pools and spa was great and quiet place to stay. Rooms renovated are very comfortable. But it will very interesting to give access to a restaurant or/and bar at the top of the principal building. That can become an interesting thing for people that may be interested to stay there.”

  • The hotel was just beautiful and very nice. Staff was very pleasant. I enjoyed my stay.
  • Valet. Was a little hard to get my car late evening unless called downstairs ahead of time! If the parking was close it would have been nice to know.

“I loved the hotel it was very nice and I would go again and again if the price was within my budget. I will come again because I am in ft Lauderdale every other week and need a place to stay.”

  • We ordered champagne and wine when we checked in and an hour later it had still not arrived. We had to cancel it.

“The hotel was beautiful and I highly recommend staying in the towers. The addition in the back is in a high traffic area and does not offer the 4 star quality. It only has a view of the pool (with kids screaming) or the parking lot. Not at all 4 star quality. The hotel itself is magnificent and I was very impressed with the food. The only thing that I was not impressed with is that the champagne and wine we had ordered for friends at check in did not arrive in a timely manner so we canceled the order.”

  • Was extremely nice. Amazing pool, and got to check in at 10am.
  • Some long walks. Not that many things close by, but river taxi was worth it.

“I am extremely happy with my stay at this hotel. We got to check in at 9am, well before I expected. Pool was awesome and 24 hours (can't beat that).”

  • Wonderful pool area.
  • $20 per day parking.

“Wonderful hotel with lush landscaping, great pool area, many nice restaurants, nice bar, renovated, pier and boat dockage, quiet and tranquil with nice room - a resort type community that when you are there you don't want to leave. About 1/2 mile from beach.”

  • The clerks that checked us in were awesome. Room was clean and well done.
  • The pools looked old and in need of an update.

  • The pool, hot pool, room and service. This hotel is retro-style of the futuristic 70's decor, simply 70's.
  • Young adults spilled chips on the pool patio and the staff didn't clean it up by Sunday.

“The hotel was beautiful, especially the pool and garden area. My husband is disabled and can walk long distances so they upgraded our room to a handicap which was closer to the parking spaces. The hotel charges 20.00 per night for parking, however, in Florida it is a state law that handicap persons with parking accommodations do pay for parking, anywhere. They did comp our charge but I had to bring it to their attention and they did try to state our hotel does not honor that until I stated it was a state law. So beware and be insistent if you are handicapped.”

  • Staff was courteous.
  • Room/hotel definitely not 4 star. Pool very dirty and difficult to locate room.

“The layout of the hotel was very confusing; we encountered other guests who complained of the same. The pool was not clean and clear; bugs/debris floating on the top of water; air conditioning was set at 70 and never reached that point and for Florida that is totally unacceptable esp. at the night. Received Saturday newspaper on Sunday. Kind of funny. We always said we wanted to stay there because when it was built it looked so cool.”

  • We were given a suite and loved it. It was the best hotel room we have ever stayed at.
  • 20 dollar a night parking.

“The suite was very comfortable. It had a lot of space. The bed was very comfortable.”

  • It was very relaxing and beautiful. The fountains in the pool were spectacular!
  • My 10 year old son was with me and the only thing that he could do was swim. It rained everyday we were there so there wasn't much for him to do.

“This was one of the most relaxing and beautiful hotels I have been to. Everybody was very helpful and friendly. They didn't bother you much, which was nice. Even the maid service was nice. They were not knocking at my door before 9 am. I would definitely stay again. I would not advise taking children to this hotel. Its more for adults looking for a romantic get away or a nice trip alone for 'me' time.”

  • Nice view of the intra costal canals from a large balcony.
  • No over good and reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance.

“Hotel is a little out of the way. Hard to get to restaurants and beach. Breakfast at the hotel is 25 dollars per person, which is a little much. Shuttle to the beach leaves every hour. I stayed in the tower (I had to request it, or they would have put me in the 2 story buildings in the back). I got a room on the 15th floor with a huge balcony overlooking the intercostals canals and downtown, it was an awesome view.”

  • The grounds are beautiful. The pool area is very nice.
  • The hotel staff were not that knowledgeable about hotel services. It was hard to get answers to our questions.

“Although this resort is not on the main strip, it is quite beautiful. The pool is lovely and staff are very friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much!”

  • Nice pool and patio areas convenient location.
  • Ridiculous breakfast prices $42.50 for continental breakfast $20.00 per day to park your car on their parking lot.

“Hotel has serious maintenance problems, we were locked out of our room for an hour due to faulty door lock. Had no hot water for the entire first night. When we were ask about our stay at check out we told them about our experience and was presented with a $100 coupon as compensation. When we examined the coupon it was virtually worthless to us.”
