• Cleanliness and access to my destination.
• Small lobby.

“It is excellent for short term business and the location is very convenient to most downtown locations. There were concerns about security because the door entrance to the lobbies to rooms stays open too long after guests enter. Undesirable individuals have plenty of time to enter after guests use their room key to open the entrance door.”

• Free parking, free refrigerator and free internet.
• Satellite TV went out quite a bit; I was not given a room with a flat panel tv

• Breakfast was o.k., but you have to pay for it, not continental.
• The bed was the most UNCOMFORTABLE Bed I have ever slept in, felt like plywood.

• I liked the bed linen, white and fresh.
• Although it was close to the airport, the traffic was heavy and it took a long time to get there.

• The staff was super accommodating and the refurbished rooms were great.

“This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I have stayed in many 4 star hotels in the area and for the money, this was better than them all. Very clean and modern furnishings, plenty of accoutrement, plenty of in room coffee and the room was very quiet. For a business traveler, looking for the best room for the money in North Ft Lauderdale, this was it.”

• Beds comfortable with fresh sheets on both sides of blanket.
• There were no microwave ovens in rooms although there is ample room .

“Although this property was non-smoking exclusively, the conversion from its former Holiday Inn status still smelled of stale cigarette smoke in many places due to insufficient painting of walls/ceilings or vents. Bath tub bottom was badly stained black leaving the distinct impression that they didn't properly clean or bleach. Also, I was disappointed to not get my Marriott reward points on this trip stay.”

• The staff was really great.
• The key cards for the rooms rarely worked and we had to get them renewed at the front desk often.

“Nice rooms and grounds situated in (technically) Oakland Park. There is only one easy entrance to the hotel as it is on a busy corner. It was relatively quiet and the rooms and amenities were all above expectations.”

• The courtyard is an all around great hotel, pool and hot tub were perfect.
• Check in time is so late.

“This hotel is always great. The staff is helpful in all ways. The front desk even knew cool places to hang out for my daughters.”

“A comfortable room with nice bedding. There was a nice sized TV in the room. The pool was dirty and poorly maintained (used towels lying all around the pool). Recommend for business traveler, but not for vacation.”

• I liked the amenities offered, the hotel had free parking, free internet, frig in room and a fitness room.
• No microwave in the rooms!

“This hotel was very nice for a reasonable price. It was located only one mile from the beach and about 20 minutes from the airport. It offers free parking, free internet, a pool and a fitness room. Unfortunately, no room service or microwave in the room.”

• The quality of the TV and the room.
• The location was close to the beach, but not close enough.

“Great place to stay for a weekend. Marriott is really stepping up the service at its Courtyard properties. The hotel is not too far from the beach and some local restaurants. It is on the corner of a busy intersection, but still remains private. Very spacious rooms and nice 2.5 star accommodations.”

“I have stayed at this hotel many times. I love this hotel. They have a mini fridge in every room and a coffee maker. Nice balcony. Clean and decorated with quality items. They have a pool and a hot tub. A lovely breakfast buffet at a reasonable price. Everything you need for a pleasant stay. A great hotel for the price!”
