“When we arrived there was nobody to be found at the front desk, we waited for five minutes before a 16 year old kid came out from a back office. We ordered room service one night and it never came. We called the front desk an hour later and there was no answer, we had to go down to the lobby to find out what had happened to our order and we were told that they were out of it and now the kitchen was closed. When there was a mistake made with our reservation information they locked us out of our room until we could come up with a printout proving our reservation dates. The rooms were tiny and the beds were very rickety and hard. The remote to the television didn't work and the shower made an extremely loud noise whenever you turned the faucet on. Overall it was a terrible experience.”

“The location of this hotel was great, the beach was not crowded and it was a short drive to south beach. The room itself was dirty and old. The light fixtures had burned out light bulbs, the room was dusty, and the bathroom was dirty. The hotel staff was rude. I think this may be due to the hotel being turned into condos soon. Maybe the staff didn't care because they wouldn't be employed there anymore anyway.”

“Work ok for what I wanted for the weekend. But the bar was very over priced. The beach area was very nice not to many people like other area in Miami. Had a nice time. Would go back.”

“This hotel may have had better rooms, but we didn't get one of them. The room and furniture were tired and old looking. The TV had few channels, there was no in room coffee (which we did know ahead of time, but would have been nice), the walls were thin, etc. What was nice was the outside entrance and the balcony overlooking the ocean. However, what good does it do to have a balcony if there are no chairs to sit in on the balcony? Signs all over indicated the dining room was open for dinner from 5 to 8. The door was open to the restaurant for customers at 5, but they were not serving any meals after lunch. It was over priced for what we got!”

“The rooms need some updating (especially better mattresses-mine was very hard). The lobby area and restaurant are very nice. Three's also a small snack/news shop which was very convenient if you want some magazines or cans/bottled water, soda to take with you to the pool or beach. The staff is friendly and willing to help. The pool area and bar is also nice. You walk out beyond the pool and you're standing on the beach. It is about a 10-15 minute drive to south beach (depending upon construction). So it's convenient without being in the middle of all the crowds. That way if you want to relax away from all the people you can hang by the hotel. Valet parking is $15/day so be ready for that charge. Almost all nicer hotels have this-otherwise you spend forever trying to find parking and then walking. I recommend it-also they are very prompt and friendly. My only complaint is that the hotel had a brochure in the elevator advertising a Sunday brunch which looked very good and I was waiting for all weekend. I called the front desk the night before to double-check the hours for the brunch and they told me. Then Sunday when I went down to the restaurant they were having a private party so there were no brunch-only a la carte items available. By then, it was too late to drive to some of the other hotels which have brunches as well. So that was pretty disappointing.”

“Manager chewed out desk worker in front of me during check-in, hallways (aside from lobby) are dark and dank and the smell would cause you to gag. Room itself was nice with great shower and AC. Definitely not a 3 star 2 at best”

“I enjoyed my stay with my family. The pool is a great size and plenty of room for all the guests. The privacy that we had at the beach was great it wasn't crowded at all compared to south beach. I was disappointed at the cost of the drinks and food that was definitely a sour point!”
