“This hotel has a nice lobby, but the rooms are old and are in desperate need of updating. We stayed 4 nights and my back was in so much pain after sleeping on what they called beds. The mattresses were thin and broken down they sagged in the middle. I sat on the edge of one bed to put on shoes and the whole bed flipped up on me. The staff was as helpful and friendly as they could be it's not their fault the hotel management won't upgrade anything. The carpet in our room was stained with who knows what. The floorboards underneath were warped and creaky. Didn't feel very safe. Anyone on the boardwalk could reach over the gate and let themselves in, saw that numerous times. The bar in the basement was open until 5am every morning and had all sorts of people in and out. Some guy slept on a pool chair every night right outside our room and then saw him "working" at the tiki bar every morning.”

“We stayed at this hotel the first night then the ocean terrace down the street 3 miles. What a difference the days inn here stunk and the one 3 miles down the road was perfect. Beds here with springs that cut into my back all night no rest, the porter just watched us work bringing in luggage for 5. Could not sign in until 4pm just stunk! Esp. compared to the ocean terrace days inn.”

“This looked good at the lobby but by far the hotel rooms were nasty and dirty. Well at least the most important part as the bed was the dirty part. Thank God I didnt have a black light. Also the bathroom was like really a crap hole. Walls were cracked and door was horrible; a lot of cracks and dirty bathroom.”

“The hotel is in a great area but the rooms are ugly and the staff unhelpful. This hotel is not for more than a 3 night stay.”

“The elevator was creaking up to each floor with abrupt stops for each floor. Our room was cramped, small and the bathroom fixtures were outmoded and rusty. Nightmare.”

“The lobby looks first class, but the rooms need major renovations. The pool area was great and very convenient to the beach. The restaurants at the hotel were gross, and there was only one restaurant within walking distance. Everything was a two mile drive away, and the parking was $16 per day. A great hotel if you just want to go to the beach and avoid all the Miami nightlife.”

“Except for the Lobby, this place should be IMPLODED!! The elevators were deplorable, scary, and the unsigned, inspection certificates expired in Sept of 2007. Be afraid, be very afraid. The place was full of mold, the carpets filthy, termite eaten trim boards...and this was the corridors! The 6th floor ocean-front room I had...well, the safe had no key, the only bathroom light didn't work, and the AC continuously kept clicking, and trying to cycle on, after it reached the set temp. (Although I notified the desk, these were never fixed. They did adjust my bill $4 for the safe). The loose toilet seat had one bolt holding it in place and required several flushes to function. The bowl, and rim were horribly stained, and scratched...the tub had been painted, and was chipping badly. There was a hole in the wall. The vent over the tub was missing one of 3 louvers. The tub caulking was moldy. The windows were filthy. Maid Service did not replace the in-room coffee supplies, or empty the ice bucket/replace the insert bag. The Floor, although sandy, was not vacuumed. They did make the bed, replace towels, and empty the trash. They also didn't get to the room till after 1:P.M. Parking was a block away, and $16 a day. The pool bottom was in tough shape. It wasn't all negative...The beach was nice! Thank you Mother Nature!”

“I had a beautiful view of ocean but room was shabby. My husband had to exit and enter through the basement because he is disabled, and uses a motorized wheelchair because there is no handicap ramp. Staff was compassionate and helpful.”

“We were treated rude at the restaurant outside by the bar. Food not stocked. Waitress swore every other word. May horrible comments about other staff. Let us order, 10 minutes later she said there was no BBQ sauce for our sandwiches. We ordered nachos and 5 minutes later she said "the cook doesn't want to make them. Ha-ha" I did not find this funny. We were hungry and paying customers. Once we got food it tasted good, but what it took to get there was a disaster. The first day of vacation our room was never cleaned. When we complained to front desk they said we had a "do no disturb" sign up. We never even had one of those signs in the first place! I would really appreciate some type of compensation for this stay. It ruined my vacation.”

“The hotel lobby was very nice. The staff at the front desk was very pleasant and the concierge was very helpful. There was only 1 elevator working and it was very shaky and slow. One day it wasn't working at all which was very inconvenient because we were on the 10th floor. The rooms were not very clean. There was something sticky on the carpet and mold around the bathroom. The ice machine did not work on our floor. The maid did a great job supplying us with essentials and she did a nice job making up the room. I did like the location because it was right by the bus stop. The restaurant was food was good. It was cheap and I guess I got what I paid for.”

“The lobby looked great. You would think that you were going to have a great room. But the rooms are so outdated and Nasty! They have valet parking, but it takes them 20 minutes to get your car. I would have hated to be in a hurry to catch a plane. The parking garage is right across the street and it should only take those 3 to 5 minutes to get a car. When you walk up to the front desk they just stare at you. You have to be the one to ask for help, no "hi, can I help you?" or "good afternoon sir". Nothing like that. I think thats very rude. The elevator was incredibly slow. Not only that but it shook and squeaked all the way up to the 8th floor where our room was. Luckily our room was by the stairs, we didn't want to risk or lives in the elevator unless we had to. Over all this hotel was terrible and not worth the money, even though it was cheap. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!”

“This Hotel locates very good place. This hotel has lots of hidden charges can't see from internet such as parking($18/day), $0.85 for each local phone call, $5 Microwave use for one day. Bathroom was ugly, hallway was dim and stink. It was one of worst hotel I ever stayed. Also front desk was not much helpful. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone.”
