“The hotel is using a Pizza delivery services where I waited over 3:50 hrs for my dinner to be delivered. Was not happy that I waited over 2:00 hrs for towels for the pool and beach when they did not want us to used the one in the room.”

“The Fairfield Miami Beach is a safe, inexpensive hotel located right on the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable if not luxurious. I would have enjoyed my stay more if there were more inexpensive dining options within close walking distance, but this is a problem with all Miami Beach hotels. There were times when I would have liked to just grab a cheap salad from McDonald's.”

“Our stay at the hotel overall was a very positive experience. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. Our only complaint was that the valet parking, at $15 per night was disappointing. Not the costs, but the fact that there was no posted instructions.”

“This hotel was very dissapointing. We were given a room next to the lobby pay phone with no heat (it was a cold day in Miami) and loud airconditioner noises. The room looked out on a wall. The bathroom was very slippery and water from the shower leaked all over the floor and into the room. ”

“The hotel was very easy to find and close to many of the attractions of Miami Beach and South Beach. The staff was very friendly and quick to be sure that everything was as expected. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds were warm, comfortable, and big. The lobby was very beautiful and there was a continental breakfast available in the morning. there is no free parking available so you must rely on the $15 valet.”

“Having never visited Miami before, we were not sure where to stay the night before we departed on a carnival cruise. Maps told us that Miami beach was close enough, but in the future we would probably stay downtown or in south beach instead. The Fairfield was a lovely hotel with a fabulous view of the ocean which we enjoyed, but there were not any shops or restaurants nearby for us to wander to that evening. We actually had to make quite a trek and had dinner in a really bizarre place. So, although the hotel itself was fine, we would not choose it again based on location.”

“Great Service. Small rooms. Didn't expect too much from an older hotel. but had a great location on the beach. Parking was a hassle. Must valet park. Street parking was very limited.”

“The staff was unhelpful. The room was not cleaned. They claimed to have room service but no one answered the number when we called (letting it ring over a dozen times). I called the hotel operator who said they didn't have room service, when I mentioned they had a room service menu in the room they gave me a different number to call that turned out to be another guest room.”

“Location is great. Right on the boardwalk. Very good breakfast buffet included in price. Only negative was the mustiness/humidity level. No exhaust fans in the bathroom, mildew on ceiling.”

“The hotel was more less what I expected, but what I did not expect was one of two beds sheets were not changed, and had someone's hair on it. That was resolved within 45 min, making it really late check in (I arived at 10:30 PM). Then phone started ringing and I was trying to answer, but it worked only one way. Had to call front desk from my cell and half an hour later I finally was able to rest.”
