“The hotel had no towels. The roof leaked and there was a big wet spot on the floor in our room. The room was very small.”

“The hotel was clean and served a purpose. It is not my type of hotel. The room was too small and the features were outdated. They tried to charge me for candy from the mini bar that I did not consume. The location was perfect for my occasion.”

“We enjoyed the small extras the hotel had to offer such as the computer for guest use in the lobby, and we also enjoyed having breakfast at the hotel, it saved us time and money.”

“First off, the receptionist gave us a key to a room that was still occupied. Needless to say that I was lucky they weren't inside when I opened up the door. Secondly, they just seemed as if they didn't have any interest in helping their customers. Lastly, I asked for more towels but they kept giving me the runaround about stupid towels. Needless to say I had to use a used up towel. Poor and very bad service from these guys. A towel shouldn't take TEN hours to arrive to you.”

“This hotel is not well located. The people in charge of the parking provided by the hotel broke one of the mirrors and it seems they are not going to pay for it, they also used my car for something else becuase my mileage was so different after one day. The breakfast is really bad, they don't have the whole breakfast menu available. Check everything in the freezer as soon as you get there becuase there was an open water bottle that could be charged to your account. My husband saw it and inmediatly reported to the manager, otherwise it would 've been charged to our room. They didn't have beach towels which was one of the reasons we choose "2 1/2 stars".I don't recommend this hotel to anybody”

“I would rate this hotel with 1 star. Although the hotel lobby was remodeled and updated, the rooms were unpleasant and the hotel was full of mosquitos. Their idea of double occupancy was one full-sized bed, so it is not recommended that you travel with someone with whom you do not wish to share a bed. I would never stay at this hotel again.”

“This is a great place to stay while in Miami. Though it is not actually in South Beach, it is about a 21 block stroll to Lincoln Road. The staff is wonderful at this hotel. They are friendly, professional and extremely helpful. Though the air conditioning could have been a little bit colder in our room, we had a wonderful view of the beach and the furnishings were comfortable.”

“The hotel's got to make up its mind as to whether it wants to be a hotel. It calls itself Ocean Spray, but it will take another typhoon for the hotel to get sprayed by the Ocean. If you want a view of the ocean, just open the window, throw down a rope ladder, descend and walk the 250 yards across buildings to get to have a view of the great Ocean. Please travel with your own Air Conditioner as the AC at the hotel is going to hang up. Just open a window. There, now you don't even need to call the front desk to complain about the AC, for that's the "helpful" answer you will get "Please open a window, sir/madam".If you have sufficient money and want to build character, choose Ocean Spray Beach Hotel. If you want to have a comfortable stay, pick any other hotel.”
