“The Renaissance Hotel was conveniently located. The common areas were very attractive. There was nothing special about the room itself. It was clean and comfortable, but not at all luxurious.”

• Great property, friendly staff and heated pool.
• In flight path of Boca Raton Airport and airport is just across the highway.

“Upscale property with a friendly and responsive staff. The pool area is well maintained and clean, very nicely laid out with a hot tub, waterfall into the poll, and bar. Free coffee in the lobby.”

• The beds were comfortable.
• The lack of a fridge in the room and the pool was like a sauna.

“Thanks to Priceline I definitely got my moneys worth at this hotel. The beds and pillows were excellent. The only downfall is that the doors are not soundproof and unfortunately for us there was a wedding there on the weekend and all the drunks from the reception had a party in the hallway at 1 am. Except for that one day everything was fine.”

• Nice size, easy parking, nice outdoor bar area.
• Elevator closed for maintenance - no notice.

“Very much a businessman's hotel. Convenient to highways and central location - but in Florida, I prefer to be directly on the beach when possible.”

• The pool area was beautiful, the food was very good and the staff responded to a problems quickly.
• Housekeeping did not replenish all of our towels or the coffee condiments. Left used wash cloth in tub and did not clean sink.

“Overall the hotel was very nice and we were very comfortable. Could have just been an off day for our housekeeper.”

• I loved the decor of the hotel.
• The room smell when I first got in there was a little musty.

“The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The decor is upscale and the pool area was amazing. My favorite was the everyday happy hour with great drink specials and $5.00 appetizers.”

• A good bargain even if it's not exactly 4-star.

“The hotel was most likely recently renovated but remnants of the old hotel were still apparent. That's why the 4-star rating may or may not be entirely accurate. That being said, the staff was more than friendly and courteous. Accommodating every request we had (e.g. providing a feather-free room, a rollaway, a refridgerator)”

• The Lobby was gorgeous and right in Central Station.
• The location at night was scarey.

“The hotel was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. During the day it was great to be at Grand Central, very convenient. At night there is nothing close by unless you want to go to Time Square.”

• AC was a little noisy.

“Hotel staff was courteous and professional. Hotel was well maintained, clean and every appliance worked as designed. They put out a coffee station in the lobby every morning for free and the coffee was excellent. The pool area was very nice with beautiful landscaping and waterfall.There was also a pool side bar with happy hour 5-7.”

• Staff was excellent, rooms were very nice, beds comfortable.
• Air conditioner and T. V. had minor issues. Pool water was hot.

“This is a very nice hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It seemed that most guests were there for business as it seems like a business area. We were planning on staying 1 night and stayed for 5.”

• The pool bar was fun, the landscaping (very Tropical).
• Rooms were nice but could have been better.

“The common areas are very appealing. The rooms were nice but I think the furnishings could have been better in the rooms. You could tell the hotel was older and had been renovated recently.”
