  • Location to cruise terminal was excellent.
  • The restaurant, and the food left a lot to be desired. First room reeked of deodorizer, and second room much better.

“ The hotel needs to use less deodorizer in the hallways and hotel rooms. If you clean something appropriately, you do not need to sprinkle stuff on the carpets. ”

  • Great staff, wonderful location, and comfortable rooms.
  • Room was very dusty!

“This hotel has recently been renovated. It's as lovely as ever. My only complaint is that the room was very dusty. That's unacceptable. Why bother renovating when housekeeping can't keep the rooms sparkling. Everything was in working order, the beds are comfortable and the hotel staff very friendly. We were going on a cruise and although there is no complimentary shuttle to the port, we were able to take a van for $5.00 per person. Again, the staff was wonderful in helping me after we arrived at the port and I left my passport in the van. By the time I called them, the driver noticed it and returned it immediately to me. I would not hesitate to stay here again despite a little dust in the room.”

  • Over priced soft drinks, water, and juices.

“Hotel was very nice, quiet in the room. Everyone was very friendly and helpful offering to assist in any way. Would definitely stay there again.”

  • Nice newer facility.
  • After paying the self parking fee I couldn't get out of the garage the next morning. Had to park, go back in, get a card to leave.

  • From the moment we arrived the staff was great. The location is walking distance from restaurants, stores and the water taxi.
  • The only thing we did not like was that they did not have a hot tub. It was a sauna so no jets or hot water.

“We arrived around 8 PM from the North Coast we were tired and hungry. The lady at the front desk was so nice she gave us lots of information on things to do in the area. Next to the elevator was a glass jar filled with oranges and water to drink. That was so refreshing, our room was very nice including a large flat screen TV. The king size bed was very comfy with lots of pillows. Bathroom was a little on the small side.”

“We arrived very late at the hotel and were tired from traveling. It was a pleasant surprise to be greeted with such enthusiasm & checked in quickly. We were very pleased with our accommodations and definitely feel we got a great value for the price. My only complaint is that on the first morning, we went downstairs to eat breakfast in the hotel bistro. When we were done with our meal & received the ticket, I nearly fell out of my chair! Our breakfast cost more than any of our other meals, including the one at the local Mai Kai restaurant. Overall, we were completely satisfied with things!”

  • Paying for self parking, include it in the booking price.

“Hotel was good and comfortable. Since it was not in a downtown area, paying for self parking was a extra that should have been included in the booking price. Would stay there again.”

  • Beautifully appointed. Excellent value from Priceline!
  • Hot tub jets were not forceful at all.

“What an excellent location near beaches, shopping, downtown Fort Lauderdale. The value was far above what I was expecting. Attentive staff, gorgeously appointed room, exceptional comfort. I would gladly return at twice the price!”

  • The location to cruise ship terminal and shuttle to our port.
  • The buffet breakfast and breakfast food was overpriced.

“We only stayed for 1 night before our cruise, but overall it was a great place. The staff was helpful and friendly. The pool looked very nice but we didn't have a chance to go in.”

  • Extra charges for parking and internet.

“The hotel is nice, but valet parking and a doorman does not mean 4 star service. The hotel charged extra for everything, parking, internet, computers in the business office, coffee, et-cetera. Rooms do not have a fridge, and the bathroom fixtures do not match, (mix of gold and chrome). The beds and linens are comfortable, but overall this is not a 4 star resort and is not suitable for a stay longer than a short weekend.”

  • Food at hotel restaurant was excellent. Good location for hotel.
  • Parking was expensive.

“Very clean, very comfortable, convenient to restaurants and shopping - many within walking distance. Friendly staff, great restaurant. Only downside was expensive parking - that really irritated me.”

  • It was close to the cruise port.
  • It took a long time for staff to deliver requested bed (2 hours).

“We were pleased with our stay. It is located very close to the cruise port and has restaurants in the hotel and within walking distance. There are also stores within walking distance to pick up last minute items for a cruise. The room was clean, attractive and comfortable.”
