“Don't ever stay here. Most disgusting hotel I have ever been to. Don't let the reviews fool you. I stayed on the 8th floor and it smelled badly.”

“Pretty disappointed. Room had broken lamp, and broken shower curtain. Had to feed a parking meter because the hotel doesn't have it's own. Staff was a bit too casual and self-absorbed. One of the worse Days Inn I have stayed at.”

“Don't stay here unless you have no other choice. Beds are broken and uncomfortable, rooms are filthy, water in shower surges from boiling hot to cold, and water was green!! We went without washcloths for 4 days, despite asking for them multiple times. I found evidence of bedbugs in our room and asked for another, which also had them. I finally was able to find a room with no evidence of bedbugs. Door knob broke and trapped one of our friends inside her room!! Mildew all over walls, paint was peeling, TV was broken, and when I left they would not call a cab for me!! They stated that they needed a one hour advance notice for calling cabs. Luckily, I found one that just dropped off another poor soul checking in. ”

“This hotel is a good place if you want to be in South Beach for a low price. The location is excellent and it is located in front of the beach. The structure of the building is old, and it seems that it is undergoing a renovation. The decoration is old. There is a pool that is clean and nice for the family. The rooms are old, but clean. My room had a nice view of the beach and a small balcony, but the phone was broken and the service did not fix it for the whole 4 days spent in the hotel. Due to this, I would not recommend this hotel. The great problem seemed to be the service. ”

“When we checked in and went up to the room, the lights did not work. Turns out, they were all unplugged. There were huge stains all over the carpet. There were exposed plumbing pipes in the closet. They charged us for the in room safe, even though we never had the key. Parking costs $15.00 per day! You have to walk down an alley to get to the pool, which by the way, I wouldn't go to at night because you will probably get mugged. No lights in the pool area! Other initial impressions of the place- toilet was dirty, shower water is either extremely, and I mean extremely, hot or very, very cold. One minute comfortable water temperature, the next minute you are desperately trying to dive out of the shower to save yourself from the blistering heat. The bottom of the tub was dirty. They don't even put fitted sheets on the bed! So, you fall asleep and after a night of tossing and turning, you wake up on the bare mattress, which completely grosses me out. The funny part, there was this letter on the table in the room talking about how the hotel is trying to live up to Mr. Days' standards of quality, cleanliness, and service. That man must have had very low standards. Overall I would give this place two thumbs down. If only I had more thumbs.”

“Rooms are large and clean with good cable on the tv. the hotel is on the northern most edge of south beach so a little off the beaten path but not all that inconvenient. my room did not have a remote to work the AC so it was either on all of the time or off-had to use the circuit breaker to shut it and call maintenace to restart it. one of receptionists was not helpful at all and seemed annoyed and the other receptionist was extremetely helpful. manager was not interested in my complaint and even offerred a higher rate than one of the receptionists.”

“This hotel was the worst hotel experience in 65 years for me. College kids partied outside my door and window all night. There was vomit, beer bottles and filth in the elevators and hallways which the staff didn't bother cleaning up for days. The front desk never picked up their phone and I had to go to them with complaints, such as a door lock that didn't work. There is no end to the disgustingness of the place. ”

“This hotel is in the north part of south beach with an 8-10 minute walk to the Lincoln mall, and 3 minute walk to the boardwalk and beach. The mall has the classy restaurants/sidewalk cafes and the boutiques. Steak house across the street and a Subway quit near the hotel.”

“I dont recommend this hotel for my friends. Why?It has just the advantage of location to beach. Except this one there is no any attractive thing.Just compare this hotel and Homestead Suits in Atlanta and recognize the difference. Dirty and neglected (except lobby). If you need refrigrator you have to pay extra fee.”

“The hotel also gave me an upgrade to a beachfront view. The roof was peeling and falling on the floor, the furnishings a bit run-down there was visible mold and a leak in the bathroom. The location was excellent and the staff very nice.”

“This hotel was not in very good repair. I had to change rooms twice, once because after a day of staying at the hotel, I realized that the door doesn't lock and typically, I leave about $2500 worth of computer equipment in the room when I'm not there. The staff was difficult and not helpful. I would never stay at this hotel again.”
