• The hotel was right on the beach.
• No Air Conditioner and Elevator out of Service

“This hotel was awful. First, we arrived early and were not allowed to check in early because we were in a large group but other clients just walk right up and were allowed to check while we waited in the hotel lobby for 2 hours. Secondly, during our stay the air conditioner went out. Instead of making it upon check-in we suffered the entire 4nights we were there. Upon check-out this was brought to their attention by several of the guest but told it will be fixed next week. Thirdly, the elevator was out of service for a full day. We had to travel up and down three flights of stairs. This hotel should be a 1 star.”

• I loved that I was across the street from the beach.
• I hated everything else about the hotel.

“The hotel is nothing like its pictures, the staff speaks no English and their rude. My friends and I complained about the pill popping freaks that were harassing us and the staff did nothing. The other hotels have security and they didn't. The rooms were small and dirty, they charged to much for the rooms. Everything was held up with tape and the cd player and iron didn't work; it took them an hour to replace them. They are supposed to supply us with ice and they told my friend to go to the gas station down the street. There is no 24hr front desk and there is no concierge. Do not stay here there are much better hotels around. ”

• beautifully decorated art deco hotel, super location, friendly and comfortable

“The Cavalier is a wonderful example of art deco in it's finest. The staff is helpful

and friendly. The prices are excellent. The beach is right outside the front steps.

The lobby is beautiful and our room was wonderful.You can get food and drinks on the premises. We loved this hotel and WILL be back. It truly is worthly

of a higher star rating.”
