“I reserved the room; however they had no record of it. It was resolved pretty quickly though because I had the receipt. Without the receipt, it would have been a huge problem. The rooms were old and unattractive. They didn't use fitted sheets on the beds. They were flat sheets. The lobby had about twenty stained mattresses sitting in it... So that kind of put me off. The beds in the room were also stained. We were put in a room next to an alley. It was very loud the entire night and during the day. The only good thing is that it is close the beach. You basically get what you pay for at this hotel.”

“You could not beat the location of this hotel, but that was the only good thing about it. The room was clean of dirt, but not of mildew. The room was very damp and smelled like mildew. It literally made me sick my allergies were horrible while I was in the room, but not bad any place else in south Florida. The bed spread was ripped; there was no chain or peep whole on the door. It didn't feel very secure. There was a fridge and a microwave, which was nice. The hotel also charged us a mandatory $2/day safe fee but our room didn't have a safe. ”

“If your clubbing in Miami and are to drunk to know where you sleep this hotel is great. Parking is 3 blocks away (public garage) staff has a lack professionalism, help desk is helpful. If you are with some one you love or care about dont stay here unless you have to. I know I got a ok deal, but the saying "you get what you pay for" as never been so true. No way this place compares to a La Quinta. ”

“Great location. room was adequate, cable TV, pretty clean. perfect for a decent place to stay right in the middle of wild south beach life. Cant get much better than the central location of this hotel.”

“The room was small, bathroom was tight. Bed and T.V. were large enough to enjoy. The carpet needed to be cleaned or changed. Don't think I'll stay there again.”

“What a great place and location. Hotel caterers to beach goers looking to stay in the heart of South Beach. Other reviews stated the hotel was unsafe and staff unhelpful, which almost made me cancel my stay. I was so glad I did not. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the heart of South Beach with the option to walk to the beach, bars, shopping, and restaurants.”

“We couldn't find parking space near the area. The beach was not that beautiful, either. The TV was old and crapy.”

“I enjoyed my stay at the Tudor Hotel. The location is wonderful. It is one block away from Ocean Drive and the beach. The hotel is also very affordable and secure.”

“I kind of had lower expectations of the Tudor because of other reviews that I had read in the past. It was a great location( right in the heart of South Beach) but many things went wrong. Our keys would always expire, so we had to get them recharged about two times within our stay. On their website, it said that valet parking was 18 dollars per day. When we arrived, the desk clerk stated that it was 22 dollars per day and she did not know where I was getting that 18 dollar number from. I also did not like that we were charged 2 dollars per day for a safe. They are charging you for something that makes you feel vulnerable and not want to leave your room. Other hotels would not charge. I did not like the fact that I had to go back down to the lobby and get ice. It was an incovenience for us. The hallway leading to our room was also very smelly and dirty and the carpet was disgusting. Our room was ok. It is no Crowne Plaza by any means, but it sufficed. The weekly maid was extremely nice also.”
