• Very close to beach and restaurants. Friendly staff.
• There was no phone in room. When I reported it to desk no help. Never did get phone in room. In the middle of stay someone took the iron from the room.

“Bar noisy and too close to rooms. I was on the third floor and was still able to hear. In the middle of my stay someone took the iron from my room never to return it. Wash cloths were never replenished automatically after the room was cleaned, had to request a new one everyday. Hotel very close to beach, 5 min walk. Ditto for the restaurants on south beach. Staff friendly. Nice LCD wide screen in room. I would not stay there again because of the noise. If you are a late owl the is the place for you. I was able to sleep at night by letting the TV stay on until the bar was closed.”

• Interesting decor.
• Noisy, disrespectful patrons, unimpressive staff.

“This hotel is a rip-off it is really just a motel with pretensions of being chic on Miami Beach. Really, it's just a noisy frat pad, music all night. Also, they charge you a $20 resort fee, even though there is nothing resort about the place! Don't go.”

• Cannot park anywhere without spending money.

“Entrance to the hotel is a lounge/bar with very dark decor. Immediately had feeling this was not good place for my family with small children. Room was clean and adequate, but very small. Nighttime there was live
DJ in lobby with loud music heard throughout hotel.”

“I stayed at the Chesterfield hotel for one night. When I got there, there were two customers at the front desk asking to change rooms because they could not sleep the previous night because their rooms were too noisy. When I got my room, I asked if it would be a quiet room, and was told that it should be. The room was beautiful and very clean, but unfortunately, it was noisy. I could hear the people talking in the next room (and they were just talking, not screaming) and during the evening. I heard the music and people at the club next door, even though my windows were closed. Since I was pretty tired, I managed to get a good night of sleep anyway, but if you have light sleep, you should either avoid this hotel or bring ear plugs with you. Other than that, the hotel is very conveniently located, reasonably priced, offers a free shuttle to and from the airport (a good savings compared to a $30 taxi) and has helpful staff. If you can get over the noise issue, it is therefore a good pick for South Beach.”

• It was very romantic and extremely luxurious!

“This hotel blew us away! It was magnificent! The lobby was like a little night club, with a bar, music, and a large flat screen TV. Once we got to our room, it was amazing! There was a Jacuzzi tub, a nice tile shower, a huge comfortable bed, a romantic sitting area, a huge flat screen TV, and it was very well decorated. It looked like it was out of a magazine. Not to mention it was in a terrific location on sunny Miami's South Beach! I LOVED it and never wanted to leave!”

• The staff was very friendly & nice! 1hr free happy hour was great!
• Low lighting in the rooms! I did see 2 roaches (able to kill one).

“Overall this hotel is great; location, facilities and staff! The lighting is low in the rooms, but at least the lighting in the bathroom is good! I did see 2 small roaches, but that wouldn't totally turn me away from coming back. It did disappoint me to see them & they were in my clothes or bags.”

• It had a very nice, large, showerhead.
• There was music on until 3:00am in the morning, very loud rap music!

“There was no parking, you had to pay for it, there was a roach walking in front of the sidewalk, there was very loud music playing all night, the rooms were very dark and there wasn't enough lighting.
”

• Hotel service was good, the room was great, I really like the decoration and the location was perfect.
• The flat screen TV in the room was huge but the quality of the cable was very poor.

“I was very satisfied with the room I got, I stayed in for two nights, didn't have any real complains. Right on the heart of Miami beach, only thing we didnt like was the shampoo & conditioners the hotel provided, they came in very small containers, also the quality of the TV was not so great, but we couldnt ask for a better king size bed, I slept great !”

• I loved the art deco style the hotel had.
• Phone wasn't working well. Phone line kept coming out of the phone.

“But I loved my room and so did my best friend. It was really nice. And look forward to staying there every year we visit Miami.”
